Amember Pro V.4 vs DAP?

I've installed DAP and getting ready to launch my membership site. However, I had a look at the latest Amember Pro and wow, what a nice interface! It also seems to make each member an affiliate and works with paypal pro.

I'm thinking of switching to Amember Pro before I launch, simply because the interface is so easy to use (from the demo anyway).

Thoughts on the two applications?

    Is this your first membership site?

    I am a big fan of amember, and 4.x will be a great system.
    But if you are already set to launch on DAP- then launch!
    I see too many people get hung up on the system, trying to find the perfect one, jumping from one to another, and never actually launching....

    What is it that you want in amember that DAP isnt doing?

      It's really the slick interface of Amember more than anything. The dashboard gives an instant overview of all the important information, including how many are scheduled to rebill the next month, cancellations and money owing to affiliates. Its easy to switch now and I don't want to switch later once I have members. The double login for DAP is really annoying as well, I've seen comments from techies that indicate it may not be the greatest from a tech standpoint...

    I really didn't like DAP when I tried it, amember suits my needs much better.

    if it's your first site then don't go with complicated plugins choose something simple that would just do the work for you. you really don't want to spend your time learning right ?

    my personal choice would be DAP.

      Why is your choice DAP? Especially when Amember is easier to use?

    We use the old version of amember and it is great, the new version looks to be light years ahead of it. The real reason I like it though is that the support is top notch and if you think you'll be needing help, that is something to consider.
