How were your sales over Christmas?

Hey guys, just woundering what everyone's sales were like throughout the Christmas period. I know a lot of people are still on their "Christmas Holidays" so I was just woundering whether you've seen a positive/negative effect or no change at all?

Logged into my Clickbank account yesterday for the first time since Christmas eve, I waas shocked to see that even on Boxing day, I'd still made a lot of sales. I've noticed a lot more people buying upsells too, not sure if this is down to people spending their Christmas money?

Anyways, share your experience, I'd like to see if it had a effect on anyone

I didn't plan enough in early December and didn't get a chance to promote for the Christmas week...

I could imagine it would be positive overall - more people are shopping online now..

Oh well - I'll wait till next Christmas and go all out

My sales on Christmas were lower than usual. My guess is because most people are out spending time with their families rather than sitting on the computer. In addition, most of my blogs are in a niche that does not relate to Christmas or presents in any way therefore it may be another aspect to why Christmas sales were low for me. However, on boxing day my sales flew over the roof and made up for the lack of sales prior.

This is the exact same thing which happened to me.

I was also shocked at the amount of poduct launches which happened either just before or during the Christmas holidays.

I made a killing over the Christmas Holiday. Not quite, but close to $11,000. The reason we made such good money is because we incorporated cross marketing into the field of offline marketing. We branded the business with that Christmas cheer and people ate it up. People love something tangible and realistic.

Product launches are the best during a Holiday because it gives a company a chance to give their brand a characteristic. Which is exactly what the general public loves. Be smart and precise and you'll see how easy the money attracts to you.

Better than expected actually. Usually a slight dip but was steady as can be.

As far as writing gigs, business got extremely slow mid to late December. I feel like when they're on vacation so am I by default.

I even placed an ad in the Warriors For Hire forum offering work at very low rates until about the end of the first week in January to stay sharp and offer something to the forums until regular work gets back to normal.

I didn't have that many sales but I did get quite a few affiliate sales through clickbank of $147 and $97 items and they provide me with a 60% commission so I am one happy aussie lady this christmas season.

Even better because I planned my niches in advance my work in the video games niche paid off and I have a lot in my amazon affiliates account and the best bit will be spending it.

At the end of the day I always expect clickbank to drop during summer when everyone is having a bbq and in winter when everyone is having christmas dinner but it is during these times when people buy more on amazon so it works well for me 24/7.
