Can someone help a social media moron (that would be me)

I don't use social media in my personal life at all. So I'm kinda dumb when it comes to this whole thing.

However, I have a few sites I'd like to engage visitors, etc.

So I'm trying to figure out the following...

There's probably a 90% chance I'm using the wrong terminology.

Let's assume I publish a new blog post.

I'd like that to automagically be shared to the following:

My twitter followers
On my Google Plus Stream
On my facebook page
To my RSS subscribers
On my Linked In profile

Is there some wordpress plugin that does this? Or do I have to go share it on each one?

Like I said, I'm an idiot when it comes to this stuff.

    Hi

    There is a WP plugin called Sharaholic that is really good that allows your readers to share it for you.

    You should be able to update your FB and Twitter from within WP but I have to go and search for that plugin for you.

      I have it set up so people can share the stuff for me. But I want to automagically share it with all my followers so they can come and then share it with their followers.

      I can't believe there's not a plugin for this, but I sure can't find one.

      The one you listed looks cool, but isn't exactly what I'm looking for.

        Check out the WSO for a plugin called WP Syndicator... that might be able to help you. You can use it to syndicate your blog posts to around 15 social media sites...it doesnt syndicate to the sites you listed above but it does do it to Twitter, Tumblr, and other tops sites.

    ping.fm should be able to plug it in to most if not all of those. For the RSS, you'd need to set up an account at twitterfeed or twitterlive (I forget which one, one just went to a paid version). That way when you post content, they all automatically or as you say automagically update. The only one I'm not sure they've added yet is Google +. So you may need to either do that one automatically or find another plugin/site that feeds off of say the Twitter feed to update that one automatically as well.

    I recommend OnlyWire. It is a automated submission service to social media websites. They provide you with multiple tools including a wordpress plugin that will allow you to automate the process very easily.

    It has saved me a lot of time in the past.

      Well said. There are no stupid questions only stupid answers. Everytime someone new to social comes along and asks questions such as you did, others share information which many more of us find useful. For example, I was not aware of the service Eddie mentioned.
