Using Aweber AND GoDaddy email marketing?

I love Aweber's webform templates and a lot of other aspects of their service. What I do not love about Aweber is their price. It didn't take me long before I exceeded 500 people on my list and started paying extra.

GoDaddy's service is set up where you're not paying for the number of list members, you're paying for the number of emails you send out per month. When you have several different lists like I do, this is a much better system. You can have thousands of people total on all of your lists, but only send out a thousand emails a month and end up paying the same price.

I thought about using both services together. I would use Aweber to add people to my list, then when my Aweber list got to the threshold of 500 members, transfer them over to my GoDaddy list and clear out the Aweber list. I believe GoDaddy allows for 100,000 emails on your list. Since members have already opted in through Aweber, I should be able to send out my monthly emails to the list through GoDaddy without problem.

My issue at this point is that Aweber will export a list in Excel format, but I don't think GoDaddy can import an excel file.

Has anyone else tried doing this? Is it worth it? Is there an easier way?

For something as important as your lists - don't be a
    cheap bar steward...

Being cheap in business is very expensive.

I wouldn't use GoDaddy for hosting, let alone e-mail
    marketing.

Besides, managing lists between multiple autoresponder
    providers is an unnecessary nightmare.

If you want to do e-mail marketing professionally, then
get serious and invest in a proper solution like AWeber
or some other dedicated autoresponder provider/software.

If $19 per month is too much for you, then re-think your
    e-mail marketing strategy. When you're doing e-mail
marketing correctly, it's a profit centre, not an expense.

    Dedicated to mutual success,
