Dear Warriors,

Just wanted to know if any of you are planning to try out new things in 2012? Hope your generic ideas can help others as well!

Wish you the best in 2012, may God bless you!

Cheers

No new ideas for me. I have so many aspects going on right now, that I actually decided to tone things down and focus only on a few key aspects in the following year. Spreading myself too thin won't do me much good in the long run

      Hey,

Yup, that is a good idea hoping WSO sellers offer coupons on your site

You may start your site with a WSO & that will make it a good idea

At the moment am studying different articles and blogs because am planning to venture into writing and commenting. I am currently going through various tips for best article production and I hope to become good in writing them. Am very much obsessed with the idea of writing my own articles than hiring people to do that for me.

I'm going to try new backlinking ideas.

I may create a WSO for the first time.

I'm going to play, experiment, test, and and have fun while I monitor the results to see what new things actually work and then do more of those....but I guess that is actually the same old idea, isn't it?

I plan to do much of the same thing, really. Why change lanes when you're making good progress? Long time before this mine has run dry.

As swarms of hipster marketers scramble to refocus their efforts hoping to milk the Next Big Thing on the provocation of their "fashionista guru overlords" in the year's big product launches, I'd rather continue steadily along the old, well-trodden and rather more scenic country backroads to leisurely success.

In marketing terms, there's very little I plan to change over the coming year. "In with the old, to hell with the new" ... almost.

    Best wishes for 2012.

      Hey there,

Its great to stick with ones that are working well for you but if you have got some good ideas, why not to work on them as well while outsourcing the present work you are doing?

Precaution for newbies: Stick to a single thing at a time, focus!

It's a possibility, for sure, but I think what I'm doing (article marketing "the syndication way") is sort of difficult to outsource conveniently at the moment - certainly without sacrificing much-needed income.

To find syndication-grade article writers in the first instance (particularly online) is a feat in itself, expensive when you do, and despite their good pay they're hard to retain over the long term because of their propensity to pursue the same path: after getting wise to the fact you're earning more from their work than they are with minimal additional effort, they begin to entertain the idea of simply writing for themselves instead. And why not? Completely logical and understandable. And since all their work is published and easily trackable online, it's not difficult for what you're doing to be reverse-engineered and replicated.

More importantly, I think at the point I'm at it'd be too detrimental to break the continuity of style between syndicated articles, content exclusive to my own sites, and the stuff sent out in autoresponder emails.

At least another year of ramped-up productivity before I'm ready to go there, I think.

That's true... I'm actually one of those writers. I have been bending over backwards to keep up with my writing workload for all my clients, then it dawned on me that I should be doing it for myself. In 2012 I'm moving away from offering services and branching out into creating content for my own niche sites and article marketing for myself. I'm excited!

I plan on adding more niches/markets throughout the year, using the same article syndication model that has worked so astoundingly well for me for so long.

Hint: I don't hire "writers". I hire "specialists" who can write.

I think after such a hectic 2011 for many of us, a lot of warriors will be shedding thier least profitable angles to focus on what makes them the easiest cash.

Personally, while I won't be closing any of my affy sites, I will be focusing more on local and offline work.

Why? Cos the clients are desperate and it's essentially Google proof. The competition is low, it's easy to look like a super star in front of a 60 year old shoe shop owner and it pays awesome

    Have a great year everyone.

Sounds like a hell of a ride, Paul.

Some of my "specialists" are musically gifted and our partnerships have seen me making gig∀ntic strides in the area of Swings, Heavy Metal apparatus and Electronic "instruments", happy Hardcore, and even Bluegrass beats over the last year. All that work, we're thinking of taking a year out to rest our calluses. :p

Yes indeed, and that we do have. Our own very special hostess provides plug and play access without any crosstalk, but caters only to private networks with high speed backbones. No slow pokes are tolerated. The boot sector leaves a small footprint just below the trunk line if there is any bandwidth interference or eating the cupcakes out of sync (under 100 Gbites/s).

Yes I plan on trying out providing a product, in the past I have only done affiliate marketing. I came up with what I think is a good idea for a new product awhile ago and I think that I better get moving with it and see if it's as great as originally thought.
Other than that I believe that I will finally pick up a few advertising/marketing books listed over on the copywriting section of the forum. I have been holding off on getting some of these books, but I keep seeing all the good things people have to say about them after reading them and I feel that I maybe missing out on something there.

Yes I'm planning to flip websites. I've built my first one for sale and am working on the sales page right now.

The thing that I enjoy doing the most is researching and building sites but then I get bored with them once I get the traffic coming in. So instead of amassing even more sites of my own it makes sense to build custom sites for others.

I'm really looking forward to next year and doing what I like the most

I'm going to continue trying to make my first websites (purchased in Sept and Oct of 2011) financially successful. So far, I've made $24.00 in Adsense and $6.00 in Amazon. It's going pretty slowly. I'm in a terrible marriage right now, so it's sort of a do-or-die situation for me.

I'm a good writer, but I'm very distracted by family, phone, internet, ect. Then I get upset and overwhelmed by my situation and I spend 6 hours crying. I have to find a way of getting focused.

I'm trying to rectify this situation. I bought a cheap card table from Amazon and put it in a back room that I can lock myself in. I bought an extra keyboard, mouse, microphone and USB hub so I can easily move my laptop back and forth. I'm hoping that this will help me get more done versus working in the living room or kitchen.

My youngest child just turned 18 a month ago so I'm hoping that I can finally have some time for myself now. I've stayed in an unhappy marriage for over 20 years for the "sake of the kids."

I guess I'm hoping that 2012 will be my year. LOL, sorry to be such a downer on this New Year's Eve.

I hope everyone has a wonderful and prosperous 2012.
