[Article Marketing] Why ezine first?

Hi everyone...

Since I began reading about article marketing in here, I've read several times that, it is recomended to submit to ezinearticles.com first and then wait for approval before submitting anywhere else.

I've searched the forums but cant find an answer to why this is.

Can anyone help?

Ezine is the most popular, the most reputable and the highest ranked acording to google. Im just a newb myself but im sure there are many more reasons than that.

thanks.. But I am more interrested in the waiting part.
Why should I wait to get the article approved by ezine, before i submit it to other sites?

With the strategy I mentioned above I post to Ezine articles and let it get accepted then start promoting on other directories. Many people theorize about duplicate content, which is what I am assuming your are referring to, and I much prefer unique content articles related to each other than just submitting the same article to many directories. I have seen as much as a 75% boost in conversions between the two strategies.

Also, Ezinearticles does not like duplicate content. If they see the article posted elsewhere under a differnent name (I switch pennames a lot) they may not approve your article submission.

However, milage may vary and I know some people have had great success with posting the same article everywhere.

There are several reasons as Vanquish touched on. Google seems to love ezine articles and their filter policy has given them a high trust with Google that tends to get your articles ranked better than comparable directories. Over the years of article marketing I have seen much better click through, conversions and ranking on my Ezine articles than any other directory and I tend to us a stable of 10 high ranking directories for my efforts.

Also, there are some nice hidden gems that I am putting in an actual article marketing course (blatant plug ) soon that covers how to maximize ezine articles efficency.

One simple stratgey I have used very well as follows:

    1. Write a unique article and put it on Ezine articles that links to my site.
    2. Write 10 more unqiue articles with related words to the main word I am promoting and have them link to my ezine article (either through a 301 redirect via my site) and to my site's main page.

This simple trick alone has seen me completly dominate keywords on a consistant basis even with millions of competitiors. Then I just trickle articles every now and then to keep the link count up and after a while I can just leave it and it stays well ranked for ever.

I have still got articles with first page ranking from 2 years ago that I have not touched in almost 18 months that still drive a nice stream of traffic at my websites.

This is not even touching some of the high end marketing techniques you can do with article marketing.

    Hope that helps some!

    Regards

The main reason is to make sure it gets approved at ezine - they like unique content! You can post articles that are not unique (for example already on your site) but they are much more likely to get bounced - so wait until ezine approves - then submit elsewhere.

You want to submit to EZA first because they are an authority site. They are considered King/Queen of article directories so you give them what they want and they will give you what you want. It's kind of a game they play.

So far they're only rejected two of my articles one for excessive keywords in which I took some out resubmitted and they accepted. The other one was for putting the url in the title. I changed my title resubmitted and they accepted it. Just give them what they want and they're happy, it's a win win.

Marketers use Ezinearticles because they give you traffic. Very simple. I submit nothing but original articles to Ezinearticles. (I consider a completely rewritten article as an original). Then I submit an original to Goarticles and another article to about 10 other directories. I link back to Ezinearticles with a blog and/or Squidoo. This seems to give some quick traffic.

If you submit to multiple directories, it's ok for backlinks. But for actual traffic you'll soon find that it's ezine that will give you more than all the others combined.
