Has anyone tried to import a digital audio recording to speech recognition software? I don't care for using a mic so if I could use my dig audio recorder to wander while I yammer away and then just import to SR, I would really like to know how to do it if anyone can tell me. Thanks, Marcus |

Thanks. I dont' use DNS. I use the one in my O/S, when I use it. I type faster when I talk, and my thoughts are more streamlined when I'm typing I think because I'm not trying to 'talk' but nevertheless, carpal tunnel in one hand and starting to feel it in the other, and I hate being 'tethered' to the mic. I wonder if there's a decent 'wireless' headset mic that my SR sofwtare can 'hear.' |

Hi Corwinnx, I am not sure about the mic part but I can sure recommend the software which many of my friends use. Nuance - Dragon NaturallySpeaking Speech Recognition Software Let me ask my friends what mic they use and will let you know if I find out. =) Cheers, John |

I'm using a wireless Plantronics Calisto Headset with Bluetooth USB adapter and Dragon Naturally Speaking 10. Headset works great.
