Why do you love Internet Marketing?

Exactly the same. Other than I love the hands on work that comes with IM I love how flexible it is and the fact that you can do it from anywhere.

The way you can thinknof new ideas and then apply them is great... And the 'not knowing' what $'s you'll make in any given day, week, month or year makes it exciting.

I feel privileged to be in this industry.

My sentiments exactly. I often find myself drawn to my computer to check my email, and isn't it exciting when you get one of those "payment received" emails from Paypal or you see that nice long line in your Clickbank stats?

I find that I have to force myself NOT to check my email every 15 minutes to see if I made sales! Anyone else ever experience that? It's almost like I'm "addicted" to IM!

Although making money on the Internet isn't easy, it isn't particularly hard, as well. I would rather work for myself and be my own boss than work for someone else half amount the time.

I just like to be my own boss, that's it. I'm not here particularly for the money, but rather for the freedom that comes with it.

Having the option to decide when I want to get up in the morning, when and where I want to go to, without being forced by anyone to do anything, is just priceless. That's what I'm willing to work my butt off to achieve.

Oh man, you are SO right! I LOVE staying up late and rolling out of bed at 11am!

It took me a few years (I know of many others who have done it in less time) to get to the point where I make a good living and could quit my job, but the day I went in to work and told them I was leaving was hands down one of the best feelings I've ever had in my life!

I even gave a two week notice, just because that's the right thing to do. I often wondered about that, however, since one time when I was laid off I got two hours notice. So why do I have to give two weeks yet an employer doesn't? LOL. Oh well, better to have the good reference I guess.

The funniest thing for me is when friends and family ask about what I do, and I tell them I'm into Internet Marketing. At first you get that look (because I guess most people who don't know better associate Internet businesses with either scams, paid survers, or porn), then, when you tell them how much you make, all they want to know is can you show them how to do it! LMAO.

Why I like Internet Marketing?

Simple,in a 9-5 job you get fixed salary and less free time.
In IM you can make double or triple or quadruple or 10 or 1000 times of your investment and yes can go for fishing whenever you want.

But its great to develop yourself .. i love to learn new stuffs and internet marketing is perfect platform for me to show what i am capable of and with that to make money too ..

I'm always in my pajamas too! But, one thing I will say, you can get lazy if you don't do other things to keep active. I recently started to go to a gym, but I actually put on about 40 extra pounds after quitting my 9-5!

Yes, this is a big problem for internet marketer, since I started IM I got super lazy and of course gain some weight lol :p

Hmm...I don't love internet marketing. I just see it is a better way to earn income. I also see more potential for developing business with an online presence.

I'd love a job where you have to live in a resort on a beautiful island and blog daily about what fun things you did.

I think a job like that was offered once with the description as "The Best Job in the World".

After spending 20 years in the corporate world it's nice to get paid what you're really worth using internet marketing. The competition is brutal which keeps people on their toes.

Also there are so many different areas of internet marketing to make money in therefore you have flexibility and can try multiple areas until you find your niche. Our niche is search engine optimization but social media marketing is coming on strong for 2012.

The main thing I love about Internet Marketing is that you have something that is truly yours that you have built from the ground up. For example, when I worked full time as a data analyst there were some projects that I really enjoyed doing. However, once you were done and had presented them to your manager the project was out of your hands. I always found it a little disheartening to do all the hard work, get a pat on the back from your manager and then never see that project again as it made its way up the hierarchy.

With Internet Marketing my products and website are 100% mine. No one takes them away from me unless I choose.

The freedom and especially, unlimited possibilities on what to do next.

I also love the fact that you can sometimes combine it with some traveling as well. Or just book a day at a hotel to be productive, like Jimmy Brown recommends.

I love the flexibility. I can work when I have the time and on only subject that I want. If my interest shifts, I can learn about that subject and then build a site about it and share my interest and the knowledge that I have gained with others... and hopefully make some money for my effort.

I used to have a part time job as a security guard. I hated it! Polyester shirts are not comfortable and the time away from my kids was horrible! Internet marketing has allowed me to make more than I would have as a security guard, I can spend time with my kids on the weekends and no polyester shirts or pants!

I will be honest and say that sometimes it still is work. There are times when I check out Facebook and see pics of my friends out on the lake and I am working. But at least it is work on my terms!

  I love the freedom that it gives me, for instance I am working out plans to take my family travelling for 6-8 months next year what other profession would allow you to do that and still make money at the same time?
  
  The downsides are too much time in front of the computer and also quite a lot of loneliness, there are no workmates to have a laugh with etc but saying that the good sides far outweight the bad IMO

Congrads on your $300 day, I remember when I did it and I was super excited back in the day. Today if I can do back to back $1,000+ days from work I did earlier excites me, so I know the feeling, great to hear

Why I love Internet marketing?
- Business is marketing. It is a tool that is cheap, dont have to meet in person to run my business
- I have traveled 6 months in the last few years, it let me do that
- It is fun and cutting edge
- It is passive with little start up costs.

Reasons I chose IM . . .

it is free or very cheap to start

many methods can be scaled and fully outsourced, making it a real business rather than a job (many people think that a MLM system is a "business", when it is really a "job", a business is something you can outsource or sell, that's a practically useful way to see it anyway, as detailed in the book "Emyth Revisited").

I can do IM from anywhere in the world, and while travelling.

There are some IM methods that don't require marketing/sales, so for those of us without a massive ego and the ability to talk the hind leg off a donkey, a profitable business is still very possible. For example honest reviews with Amazon affiliate system is one way, where honesty beats hype these days I am pleased to say, as I personally find hype very annoying

I'm a hard worker, so why not learn IM and work hard at something I like to do.
