If you mean autoresponder, then aWeber is the way to go.

Good deal right now as well.

My favorite feature with them are the great opt-in form templates they have, and how easy they are to customize.

i was about to ask the same question.. .. am very new to email marketing ,Aweber seems fine if you will be using email marketing a lot.. then you will get yours moneys worth..

Any alternatives ? or any free ones ?

I also have to give my vote to aWeber. They have been on the market for 12 years and are really the best option. They have a great customer support base, often respond to questions fast, emails going through their system end up in the spam folder much less frequently than from other Autoresponders I have used.

infusionsoft there email system is pretty good also
but there more of a all in one shoppingcart.

so the monthly price tag is alot more than the
other autoresponder systems

As a lot of people above have mentioned, aWeber is a great tool for email marketing. They have a trial offer these days [$1 for 30 days trial, which isn't bad at all]. Make sure you try it out completely to see if it fits your needs.

How many subscribers do you have? Icontact is cheaper than aWeber if you have less than 500 subscribers. IChimp is free till 2000 subscribers I think, but it doesn't really compare to aWeber or Icontact in my opinion.

aWeber has an amazing email tracking and management system that IChimp is not even near matching. If you plan to do affiliate marketing, I believe that is against the IChimp TOS so you might want to avoid it since they might close your account without notice.

  I think it depends on your budget and what you want to do with it. I used to use Aweber and it is certainly one of the best out there, in my opinion, but if you want far more levels of control including tagging and contact manipulation then you can't beat InfusionSoft even if you are only using it for emails.
  
  I also like the fact that InfusionSoft works with people as contacts rather than in lists so the same person is not in multiple lists and the emails they get can be completely controlled.

Infusionsoft is the best by far.

However, it is also out of the budget of most beginners by far, starting at about $250/mo for the basic package if I remember correctly (I've upgraded since then).

(If you can afford it now, do it... You'll want to upgrade to it eventually anyway, and it is a real pain trying to get everyone moved from your starter program... But if you're not making enough money to cover the costs, you may not want the extra bill just yet.)

So, at this point you probably want to stick with Aweber or GetResponse, both of which are very easy to use and have had good, solid reputations for servicing Internet Marketers for quite some time now.
