Default Samples of Great Surveys - and Must-Haves in a Good Survey

I'm about to create a survey to shape a new product I'm soon to develop. I'm after links to some great surveys done by internet marketers, in any niche, to gauge my own.

Also, what do you think are some must-have questions in a survey designed to shape a new product?

Here's a link to 16 tips from Survey Gizmo for Online Survey
Best Practices

https://www.surveygizmo.com/survey-s...est-practices/ (no affil.)

And 5 Guiding Principles of Good Survey Design

Ed Halteman- Good Survey Design : Online Survey Software Tool (no affil.)

I attended a very useful webinar by them and it gave some
valuable tips on what to do and what to avoid.

Here's a link to their slides:

Best Practices in Survey Design - Webinar Slides : Online Survey Software Tool (no affil.)

Of greatest importance IMO is to be crystal clear up front
on the information you want to get from your survey. Only
after doing this should you then write the questions to elicit
that information.

Most people start creating questions for a survey too soon
instead of considering their objectives first.

I hope the above links are useful for you.

Dedicated to your success,

Shaun

Thanks Shaun. They helped. I'm very clear with my objectives.

Now, I'd just like to see some good surveys by top IMers to pick out golden questions they use.

I remember reading a superb report by Paul Myers a while back, containing some VERY good tips.

Instant Marketing ESP

The report isn't free, but I think you'd find it *well* worth the small amount Paul is asking. (I'm not affiliated with the product or anything like that.)

Remember, Paul has a BIG list - so he's done a few surveys in his time

Paul, I've got it and that's where I've gotten two good questions from! Also, your 10% conversion had a few things in there as well Both reports/ebooks are one of less than five I purchased last year.

I'll be doing my first "flow test" this week.

If anyone can provide good sample surveys from marketers or even list some must-have questions here, that would be helpful.
