Focus on an education. Then instead of making some money now, you'll make lots of money later. I'm waiting for a check from Google Adsense as well as an advertiser
...BUT this is within a year of completing my university education, getting snatched up for a full time career job while finishing university, and meeting loads of people from various areas of my industry, which is what my site is all about.

If it was easy to get rich, we all would be. I'm in my early twenties, paying my way through everything, have my own place, a collection of motorcycles, a dog, and a beautiful girlfriend who rides motorcycles as well. I had to work on it. I love my industry. Spend the next few years focusing on your education, and on whatever it is you love on the side, and then all the good things will follow. Trust me.

Create an information product based around what you know best. If it solves a problem for someone then you will be surprised how easily you can sell it online.

Learn the basics of marketing. You need a vision before you will actually stick to a plan. Figure out what you want to help a large group of people solve over the next 5 years. When you come up with that answer your ready to move on to the next step which is creating a marketing funnel. Start with affiliate marketing which is marketing someone else's products. When you come up with your vision that you will stick with no matter what come back and ask as many questions as you like.

Well, the right smart thang to do would be to make a decision, focus on it, be patient and stay with it.

A lot of times, it ain't what you choose to do so much as what you choose to do with it!

Start learning. If you're really interested in Internet Marketing, start reading IM books or products, and combing through the threads in this forum. Yes, you need to take action. But you first need to learn how to take action. Find an IM method that interests you and start working on it.

Pick an IM niche and go into it whole hog.

Depends on the product, if you are into gaming there are lots of guides out there through Clickbank or Plimus, start your niche blog promoting those offers and providing quality content to other gamers.

Yes 98% fail and 2% succeed. Focus on finding your sub niche where you will put all your focus. The money is in the list. You will need a autoresponder a domain, and hosting as basics.

You will then need to either purchase reseller rights products to give away or create a piece of content that will help your target audience build trust with you. You then will need to build traffic. Not just any traffic but targeted traffic. There are tons of ways but for beginners: Forum marketing, article marketing, and blog commenting as one of the first people commenting are the easiest. Content sydication is free but requires you write great content and do some networking to get your content on other people's sites.

The other methods get a little complex and will require investment. If you have the money jump into PPC and solo ads. To start just focus on getting the squeeze page set up and the free content to deliver. Then start your traffic generation journey. Follow up with your subscribers through follow up messages in your autoresponder. Keep learning and things will become clearer.

If you don't have a lot of money to invest in the beginning, use Google and Yuotube for your marketing questions. Just type in your question and you'll be surprised what you will get for free. Then when you have the basics down you can buy products related to the more advanced subjects.
