What Type of Website Makes You the Most Money

I don't know the correct lingo or the best way to ask this question, so bare with me. What type of website do you find makes you the most money?

1. MFA- Made for Adsense site (I don't personally do these sites)
2. Content site- massive amount of content, not even necessarily high click keywords.
3. Clickbank type site- Pick one product and promote that product only.
4. Amazon/Affiliate Site: Pick a niche and write reviews.
5. Videos
6. Sell physical product(s)/online store
7. ???

What am I missing? For the new year, I am thinking about focusing on my Amazon site.

7 - a squeeze page. I just got a 500 error also. I say squeeze page because there are hundreds of millions of pages online. If people are coming to your page YOU MUST capture their details before they leave because they might never come back again. Visitors are like pretty girls with millions of options. I personally use nothing but a squeeze page and then lead them to a bonus incentive offer positioned with the front end of a funnel.

Amazon is a fine idea, but the lower percentage rate for affiliates ensures that you must get more traffic and more sales to make it pay off for you.

It is very possible to make a sweet living just from Amazon, but it does require you to move more product.

I would advise you off of MFA.

Content Site is okay, but again, you have to monetize your traffic. Getting the traffic is much easier than monetizing it.

Videos have potential, if you know how to play the CPA game, without getting booted from YouTube.

Selling physical is good, but you still need either good Google rankings on your products or other reliable sources of traffic.

Offline marketing services... There is a lot of money in that, if you know more about the process than your customers.

Here is my suggestion, but I don't have one :

A website offering a product with 1000's of affiliates driving sales for you. I'm sure of the owners of some of the top clickbank products would agree.

The key to squeeze pages is to keep ongoing contact through email. Instead of having the pressure of making the sale right then, you can market on the back end. It depends on your niche what you offer. I deliver the gift and then have a bonus incentive offer to a low cost front end product that will continue to a higher priced product and then a high end product as a one time offer. I let my system do the work. I market only residual type products so the money keeps coming.

Pick one area to focus on. Having multiple goals is the equivalent to someone saying I am going to climb 3 big mountains. I would only suggest you stick to one vision until you are at the top. That will take years. Focus and building skills is the key. I keep mentioning squeeze pages because building a list of your target audience is going to give you a lot of power as your list gets bigger and bigger. One email with a autoresponder will go out to your whole list. You can keep in touch with your visitors for years to come.

Don't feel bad that is the number one reason that holds people back from massive success. I struggled with it for the longest. You need to do some deep brainstrorming. Pick an area that you can envision yourself waking up excited to offer more and more value. It needs to be a area that has a demand and hungry buyers. Before you can start your journey you will need to create your vision. Start with brainstorming. When you have a initial idea and vision it will start to expand to a plan. Then you can get ideas and help with your plan. I will always be happy to help you.

I've been trying to climb like 2 or 3 DOZEN mountains at once! No bueno.

In 2012, I have personally decided to focus EXCLUSIVELY on selling Amazon products... via just ONE website!

It's not a tight, focused niche... more of an entire Amazon category. So I can feasibly write one product review every day for the entire year, which is my goal.

My financial goal to have reached by this time next year: $500 per DAY from this website. ALL from Amazon.

I truly believe that LASER FOCUS should be the name of the game in 2012.

And I really believe that Amazon is probably the easiest money you can make online, provided you're targeting product-specific keywords. As for list-building, I believe that a simple opt-in form in the sidebar (above the fold, of course) should suffice, and you don't really even need to offer a freebie, unless you want to.

Just say something to the effect of "Sign up to be notified of massive discounts on ___: Be the first to know!" Or something to that effect.

That'll be my approach, anyway.

I am kinda new here, but I have run a website for a while. I am interested in these Amazon websites. Can any of you please give me an insight into these kind of websites? What do they sell? Are they part of or affiliates of Amazon?

How do you know what sells and what doesn't? Would appreciate any help on this.

I think it depends on the person's abilities. I happen to be strong in SEO so offers that do better with PPC might not be for me.

A squeeze page is a page where you offer a free gift in exchange to collect your visitors email. The reason this is good is because you will be able to keep contact with your visitors instead of potentially never seeing them again.

What works best for me is adsense sites with helpful content and also authority type sites. I have been testing adding optin forms for some of my adsense sites with different offers.

Definintely my info product sites bring me the most money, nearly 75% of my entire income. Yes, there is a sales funnel including blogs, squeeze pages and autoresponders that feed leads into these sites, but it is the products and sales pages themselves that generate most of our income.

Even better, the business is highly leveraged, meaning that the time it took to develop each of those products continues to pay month after month.

Half the traffic comes from affiliates, the remainder is a combination of leveraged content that we had already created with a few new updates each week

We also have many other sites, some Amazon, some affiliate infoproduct sites and others mainly Adsense - they do OK, but we make sure our primary focus is on the product sites that we own.

I agree with sticking with one product at a time. For the past year I've been jumping and juggling several products at once. Basically, spinning my wheels and not going anywhere. So, now that we are in a New Year, the goal is to promote the product that I have found most useful and productive. We will see how it goes...

i think if you make a site that contains adsense, amazon affiliate program and huge content, then you can make lots of money everyday.

I own a few amazon review sites and earn in 40 hours what many folks earn in a month at their "regular jobs".
