Does anyone out there pay for traffic to youtube videos? Like popunders or redirects or any other way? Do you get any of organic views, comments, likes? I am really curious to see if anyone has achieved great result with this.

    Fake popularity can only carry you so far. After that, all that is left is the quality of the content itself.

    If it is good content, then traffic will grow virally.

    If the content sucked, nothing will help it to be successful, period!!

    No, I don't buy junk traffic for my videos. I build links and advertise the video in mailings. If the content is good enough, all I need to do is to grease the wheels.

      Actually, that's not true. The amount of times I've seen crap videos with 1m+ hits, but only because of it's title and preview thumbnail image. Not necessarily the content.
