Hi warriors.

This is probably something really simple but im just after some advise.
I have been reaserching an affiliate product, I have created my landing page and now I want to start driving traffic to this page.

How do I submit my website to the search engines?

Are their any other good places to submit my articles other that ezine articles?

Does anyone know any nice little tricks to drive mass traffic to my landing page?

Thanks

There is no need to submit your site to the search engines. To get listed just build quality links back to your site.

"submitting to SEs" is very....uhm...late 90s. Better don't. SEs will find you anyway if you did the right things.

If your site is a blog offering a RSS feed, get RSSBot (its a WSO from Big Mike) and submit the RSS feed with it.

Submit the site to social bookmarking services, or hire someone doing that job.
Get someone writing a press release for you and submit it.

There are people who offer article writing AND submission, they submit to more than "only" ezine.

You can make blogger blogs and squidoo lenses and take advantage of their link power/PR, linking back to your blog. Again, the RSS feeds of those Squidoo lenses and blogs can also be submit via RSSBot to various RSS feed directories.

Then there is forum marketing, depending on your niche, a signature or or gaining rep on a forum can be VERY powerful.

You can also post ads on craigslist.

"Mass Traffic"..see above. The traffic will come, sooner or later if your page is relevant and has good content and is frequently updated.

Yes as the others have said here before me. You don't need to submit to SEs to get indexed. Build backlinks through referrers such as social networking and social bookmarking websites.

If you have money, you can simply outsource the link building and article submission. But if you don't, you'll do good commenting on related blogs and posting on related forums with a link in your siggy.

You can write articles and submit them to the top article directories, you can record videos and submit them through traffic geyser for great search engine rankings for your chosen keywords.

You can start connecting with people on forums and helping them out with their issues the way that we're helping you out.

You can use email marketing and use a list that is targeted, I'E if you're selling diet products get a list of people who have expressed an interest in diet products.

You can use voice broadcasting I Buzz Pro have a lot of different lists in their system that you can use.

You could start a blog and post your article content on there.

You could link trade with a site that gets a lot of traffic in your niche

You could try banner ads but make sure you do your research and get a good ROI-(Return On Investment) and make sure it simple, a banner ad that contains too much text or animation, or too many colors and fonts will cause viewers to experience information overload...!

PPC is GREAT! Perry Marshall is great you should study his books like christians study the bible.

And the most important thing is to track where people are coming from if you're not already...

I think that's enough to keep you busy for a decade!

    Good Luck!

I would start by writing a few articles and social bookmarking. I guess the trick is really to try as much as you can on a small scale and track what works for you.

info.vilesilencer.com can automate the process of link building to you.

If your niche is quite popular you can write an article for wikipedia.org. Or you can write press release it will give massive instant traffic for your product.

I assume you only choose free traffic generation method. You can write articles for popular magazine in your niche.

Or you can hire super affiliates to promote the product for you. You can track the super affiliates using affiliate elite.

I just started using a service from articlemarketer.com. It is a paid service (free trial available) and submit your articles to thousands of directories, etc. I was doing this myself and was lucky to post to 20 directories and it took a good bit of time even using software. I am just starting to see results. I went to #1 on Yahoo for one of my primary niche keywords with 2.3 Billion competing sites. Yes, that's with a "B".
