Just a thought really, im intrested to hear what people think when its the time to give up on a niche website and move on ?

Im building websites and monitizing them with adsense, My goal is to build up £40 per day steady and leave my day job and scale up. I have 3 niche websites at the moment which i have been publishing articles for over a month and now have 10-12 articles on them (800+ words per article all SEO optimized), paid for 4 fiverr gigs to build backlinks to them ($60 in total on backlinks) and added adsense on two of the niche websites which started to see trickles of traffic.

However im not making a single $, after a month i know people say its to early, yet you read others and WSO's claiming you should see incomes very quickly... i have read 3 popular WSO's from the war room and read alot of information from the forums and followed all the information to the dot, but i cant help but feel like im waisting my time on the websites.

All 3 websites have been dropped from the google rankings oddly enough this morning (cant find them on first 20 pages). Yet if i do the site: tag then it works fine.

So back onto my question - would you give up on these 3 niche websites yet ?

Look at these 3 websites like the future of your business. You owe it to yourself to make the changes necessary to get at least one of the 3 into some profit. How else will you know how to get your future websites into the green.

I would go to a respected marketer with skills, and ask them to look at your sites. Get their opinion. Even pay for it if you have to. In the long run it's worth it to get a residual income going.

One guy I think is very respected on this forum is Matt LaClear. He does consulting and SEO. Here's his consulting offer:

I struggle with this concept sometimes, too. Exactly when do you give up on a site and move on. But I think the advice of at least hammering away on one them until it's profitable is good. At that point, you'll have the confidence and experience to continue.

One VERY real problem with some WSO's is that they are out of date. Peoples behaviour changes, and so do the Al Gore Rhythms of a mathematician in Palo Alto. You need to be looking ahead of whats happening now, not following the heard.

The single most important question ANY webmaster / website owner MUST ask themselves is this... Based on the Search Term (im expecting a user to type), does my site answer the query or not?

Unless the answer to this question is a VERY loud yes........ that's where you need to be concentrating your time. (How is a different thread topic)

If the answer is a VERY loud yes, NEVER give up on the site, just find a way to put your site in front of the people searching for your solution. (Again, a different thread topic)
