Yes, I've had a couple videos ranked #1. It is great for products like sometimes you see that the top video of "x product review" has only 1000 views and 20 likes and you can just get very far ahead of them.

I've seen several of these sites, but never tried one. My concern is that google may know your video is being viewed through a service. Does anyone know if this technique really works effectively in the long run?

Just like three way links and directory listings use to work with seo.

As time goes on I have no doubt that the "Big G" will crack down on these types of things and just like magic people will lose their youtube rankings over night.

Kinda like panda and every other major google algorithm update has done to the serps.

Then we will hear people ranting and raving about how google is so unfair and how the internet is dead.

If you want to know the real secret to ranking high in youtube then gather round children......

Here it is..

Create great videos.

Videos that ingage your audience. Videos that solve their problems. Videos that entertain.

Videos that are more than those crappy written articles jammed in to video format that have been overlaid with even crappier stock music.

The problem with this tactic is that it may seem like a lot of hard work . But it actually isn't really. It may also take a bit longer to get results too.

But think of it like this..

Imagine two people are building a house. "Person A" is in a hurry and doesn't want to dig very many holes. So he doesn't waste time laying the foundation.

He's just straight in to the building part.

Wham, Bam Thank you Mam.

Now "Person B" on the other hand does build a foundation. He has to spend a lot more time digging, leveling, and pouring concrete.

His back hurts.

He doesn't mind though. It makes him feel "Alive!" It makes him feel good.

Now by the time "Person B" has finished his foundations, "Person A" has already finished his whole house. Not only that but he has invited all his friends around and they are having a great old party.

It is easy to think "Person A" is the smart one. But then winter comes along. And so does the heavy rain, (Also known as google.)

It buckets down for days on end.

Until eventually "Person A's" house crumbles to the ground. He Cries and moans and tells everyone who will listen how evil the rain is. He doesn't learn his lesson and so he builds his house the exact same way again.

And surprise, surprise.. Every winter the same thing keeps happening.

His house falls down again...

And again...

And again..

And again.

Now lets revisit "Person B" again shall we?

Gosh. It looks like he managed to finish his house just in time for the first winter storms.

And even more impressive than this is the fact that every summer since he has spent a bit of time renovating. Now several years later he owns what could only be described as, um...

A Dam Big Mansion.

Cool huh?

I think not. This is JUST like a traffic exchange, and you might also say that "It isn't fair for the guy with the best video" but the guys that make more sales on IM isn't the one that has the best website, it's the one that has more traffic

oh and PS - try the YouTube subscriber train - free every three days - to add 5 subscribers to your channel... YouTube is very much something for 'in the near future' as far as I am concerned, but it's fine to be building a small list of subscribers in the meantime...

Hi David, I agree with you that traffic is very important but I think there is another part to the equation that needs mentioning as well..

..Conversion.

And conversion is all about having the right message, at the right time, delivered to the right person.

Bearing this in mind then and if this youtube traffic method is just like a traffic exchange then the only thing it would be useful for is selling products to people who are looking for more youtube traffic.

If you have the right conversion rate then you can buy as much traffic as you could ever need.

You should do video optimization for getting good position in search engine. You should also commenting on allready first position sites. So from this tactic we should get position in simmiler videos.

But the point here was to boost your video with some views and then the ranking will go up. After the first boost of about 500-2,000 views, the video is pretty high in the search and you'll get the real right targeted visitors that brings the conversions.

I used to use these websites like enhanceviews, but now I'm little bit skeptical about them. I believe that the big G will change the game and they would band more accounts for using such sites. I would use these sites carefully. To get like 200 views from them seems to be all right for now, but you never know.

I've seen the same claims as well but my understanding is that
with the latest Youtube update the "views" don't register
anymore.

The site is not mine, I just wanted to share this so that some guys could have an 'easier time' ranking up their videos. I've even seen partenered videos on that program so it is still pretty safe at the moment. Plus, it won't be easy for google to find out because this program is a bot that uses the search bar and then goes to the video on Internet Explorer...
