Any Dutch speakers? (the Netherlands)

Hey, just wondering if there are any Dutch speakers on this forum.

Although there are probably only 17 million people in the Netherlands I reckon there is a lot of potential to do well as from what I can see the market is quite underdeveloped, most Dutch web-sites are terrible IMO.

      I was raised bilingually.

      I just think the overall quality of Dutch websites is not very good, everything from the sites for national newspapers to social networking sites.

      The only reason I can think of is that the best dutch web-developers concentrate on the world market and ignore their backyard because it's too small.

      I'm just wondering if I could be a big fish in a small pond.

    Hej,

    I'm from the Netherlands!

    A little story about the Dutch people.
    The majority likes to pay with cash instead of Credit Card.
    And paypal isn't a hype here either.

    I really think that marketing products to Dutch people is possible.
    However, since the Netherlands people speak Dutch I don't think 99,9% of the Warriors are a good fit.

    And Dutch people are VERY skeptical when it comes to buying stuff online.

    One big advantage is that there is only 1 "guru" here in the Netherlands, and that's it.
    So people are quite easily to target.

    But if you can't show them exactly face to face what you have to offer you will fail. PERIOD.
