Can You Promote A CB Product That's Not Listed In The Marketplace?

I just came across a CB product that I'm interested in promoting (no affiliate competition and a 'desperate' niche) but it doesn't seem to be listed in the marketplace.

Does that mean affiliates can't promote it? If I can, then how would I find the merchants name to make up my hoplink?

    If the merchant is NOT offering affiliate program, they won't be listed on marketplace. So what is the use for you in promotng it?

    Contat the merchant if they like JVs with coimmission to you.

    The answer to your question is mostly always Yes.

    BUT...

    Always check with the merchant that they still actively handle the product, they may have moved the aff. program somewhere else recently..

    Products are automatically taken out of the CB marketplace when they go an extended period without sales or if the merchant violated a TOS agreement..

    Usually I would fire an e-mail to the merchant to double check that the aff. program is still active via CB.. I have always had a "YES, still active" and usually it is just a period of no sales that had it removed from the market place. Obtain the hoplink from them and roll on

    p.s. Some of my best converting CB products weren't listed in the market place when I found them, they are now though...lol..

    Hi Hamida,

    The merchant might have just forgotten, or he's unaware, about putting his details on the "My Site" page in his Clickbank account.

    I made that mistake for many months when I was a newbie before I discovered I didn't put any details; hence, my product was not in the CB marketplace.

    Best option is to contact the merchant to know the real situation.
