Ebook after Checkout??

I figured someone in here could help me.

I will be selling an ebook and looking how to only allow 1 download once the client purchases. I do not want to use Clickbank, since they can get a refund and steal the ebook. Does Paypal offer that it can only be downloaded once??

How do most deliver the Ebook after the purchase?? How do you keep it from being stolen and shred, well the best you can??

    You can try a service like DigiResults which will control your download but I am not sure that it only allows one download.

    Another one I have heard people talking about is DL Guard. You can also try e-Junkie where you can limit the number of days or hours someone has to download the book. It will also tell you how many times the book was downloaded by each customer. It's not that easy to setup but still worth taking a look at.

    i believe for what you're looking for ejunkie is probably best. i think their base plan is $5 per month? not sure.

    DLGuard is great. One time purchase for the software and you can use it for all of your products. A lot of people on WF use it and swear by it. Great customer support also.

    It handles the payment and the secure download.

    Why do you think that buyers will "steal" the book if you use Clickbank? Buyers can get a refund through other payment processors as well.

    Don't worry about people refunding and keeping your ebook. People are going to do it whether they're allowed one download or 100. It's part of the business.

      This is true. No matter what you use, they can download after purchase, and distribute it themselves or upload to black hat sites, etc. There's little you can do to stop that. You can issue DMCAs where it has been uploaded and that works fairly well for the most part, but there's no way of prevention without using a service that converts the pdf into an executable that requires a license to open it.

    I'm seconding the recommendation of DLGuard. It has an awesome interface and it is pretty easy to use.
    DLGuard - Download page protector, create expiring download links

    The up front fee is pretty high, but it is definitely worth it specially if you plan on releasing more ebooks in the future. It's simple to use and they have a trial run of 60 days if I am not mistaken.
