    Hey flatbro,

That is indeed how a lot of people start out with affiliate marketing. Do you have any particular niches in mind? Remember that some products are next to impossible to start out with, whereas others are much easier. You should try choosing a less popular niche so that you can do SEO on your blog to make it rank higher on Google. Once you see this, and if the products you review are worthy enough, you should make some money.

The answer is YES, absolutely. But like Yasir said, you should do some research to make sure people are buying the products in that niche online and it's not too competitive to get into.

Your a Braver man than me Brock for using Amazon in your domain name they are anal about protecting their brand name which is why I chose to use Amz and others use Azon etc but never the word Amazon.

You might want to have a back up plan domain wise as you may very well receive a letter from Amazons lawyers.

I believe as do many others, that Amazon is one of the very best ways for a Beginner to get started with Internet Marketing and is also one of the easiest ways to make your first dollars online if you take consistent daily action.

The real key is to commit yourself to FOCUSING ON ONE THING ONLY and try and avoid jumping form one opportunity to the next as this will slow down your success, no matter what you pick stick with it 100% and you will succeed and Amazon is a great start.

Amazon is not the best to get started.
Its a hard climb, but the rewards are good.

I do not know why people say Amazon is good for a beginner when most people do not make money with amazon.

What sort of statement is that, I cant agree with that, and I am sure the hundreds of Warriors making money with Amazon would also disagree with you.

Many of my students report making their first sales within 30-60 days with the learning curve, meaning they knew nothing when they started and make a sale within their first 30 days, so that statement is rather misleading because there are not too many opportunities that offer the chance for a complete newbie to make their first dollar online within 30 days.

After that its just a case of ramping it up

You'd make money faster with Ebay or Amazon Services. If you can find a good wholesaler/dropshipper, you'll make money much more faster. That is of course, if you don't mind doing a bit of goon work when working with inventory and things.

Why do you want to be an amazon associate as opposed to selling clickbank products or your own product?

Sorry guys for the late reply, I heard Amazon Associates was easier to get sales than Clickbank its self. I currently am still trying to find a hungry niche...Sadly, but im still kicking with market samuari to find one !

Amazon bestsellers is a great way to find hot products, but make sure they fit your criteria (i.e., over $100, many reviews, lots of similar products, etc.).

Also beware that they may be too competitive. As they are easy to find and popular they are often used by many people who don't want take the time to research.

You need to check into the backlink strength of the top 10 sites for that keyword

True...you really have to dive deep into the research part of it. Come up with like 100 products, then filter them out based on your rules, whatever they might be. THEN use Market Samurai or any tool you like to check the competition. You'll probably narrow down your list VERY quickly to a handful of niches.

I agree with what other people have said, Amazon is a really great route to go with as a newbie. I made some of my first money using Amazon, and it was really thrilling to finally start making money.

I would recommend making a "fake store" site also, where you make a blog that looks like a webshop, but when they click buy now, it redirects them to amazon via your affiliate link. An example is Droid X Case | The best Droid X Cases and Covers available.

    Hope this helps

I think AdSense is a little easier because you don't have to worry about two things:

      1. Are the keywords "buying" keywords?
      2. Do people buy stuff in your niche online?

It simplifies things a bit...I'm actually just getting into AdSense and it seems much simpler (however almost just as slow) as Amazon.

Ad sense is way too uncertain and risky at the moment. I won't recommend this for beginners because they can give even before the journey starts when they receive a ban letter.

Amazon is pretty much safer and require the same keyword research and link building, nothing extraordinary.

A mix or adsense and amazon associate products can be a great starting point for a beginner. Good luck. And be prepared to fail a lot and fast but don't quit
