Is anyone else finding logging into WF becoming a full time job?

Just took me like 25 attempts to log in. Each time I was just re-directed back to my unlogged state.

Anyone else? Or is it just me?

No log-in problems but I've been having a high number of database errors and timeout errors when I try to access this site.

Is there such a thing as too much traffic?

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

I get a lot of errors as well as timeouts. Guess it's just because of the high traffic.

Luckily I found this thread, I thought it was because of my Internet

Hey Jim, I'm having the exact same problem. Every time I log in it says 'Thanks for logging in, ' But hasn't actually logged me in. Taking me forever to get in and the laptop nearly got launched this morning.

You guys NEED to hit the "remind me" check box. Try that and report back.

Edit: Hope now you can see it:

Hit the "Remind me" check box.

Do you mean "Remember me"? or Remind me? ... where does remind me do?

Also, a tip to get LOGGED IN straightaway is - login once, and go into warroom. You'll be logged in straightaway!

Same problem as Kay. I can login just fine, but every now & then it will give a database error instead of loading the forums.

    Logging in is becoming difficult...

When I could not login after my third attempt in the current session, I decided to go to an inner page and login from there. It logged me in. Don't know whether it was a coincidence or it's something that will make anything better.

Not a coincidence. That will prevent most of the problems with log-ins. The other step is the "Remember me" function.

The database errors are a traffic issue, and there's nothing that can be done about those on the visitor's end.

Yup the site is often down and I get lots of errors often. And if the site does load it's often very slow. I think they need to get more powerful servers.

I was having plenty of issues logging in until I found out that my wired connecting (Kat5) was running through a wireless router and it was the router that at times slowed way down the process or hit a snag.

Server errors come and go but I can deal with that.

When you are working full time on your computer and have a WF window open - sometimes not being able to log in is not a bad thing. =D

i haven't had issues logging in as i'm always staying logged in. however, i have noted that while all my other sites are loading just as fast as they always do, navigating the warrior forum the last few has been a real chore to say the least. i get "waiting for warrior forum" and sometimes a server error. don't know what's up but it is VERY annoying.

This started happening to me too about a month ago. I presumed its just all the massive traffic that the forum gets especially for WSOs.

Usually I find if It easier to log in from an actual thread than from the main page (index).
So i just click on a random thread and that works 99% of the time.

errr no you don't really have to click "remember me if you dont want to".. it's a cookie/authorization issue. after it takes you back to the previous page after logging in, it shows you as not signed in. however, if you just click through to another page, you will see that you are signed in.

I've had a similar issue with logging in, being redirected - only to find myself not actually logged in, and having to do it again.
I'll try the 'remember me' box trick (shouldn't have to remember me for the first visit though!).
I never logout - but find that it often will log me out over inactivity. Though hopefully the remember me option will fix that.

You could also consider using a login storage plugin (like LastPass) so that at least you'll never have to type in your details and can login in with one click.
