1 Product - Multiple Affiliate Networks [Just a thought]

I was just thinking...
With all those new promising affiliate networks breathing down Clickbanks throat, would you be tempted to try and promote your products on multiple affiliate networks?
Personally I don't think I'd dare to pull such a stunt, because I wouldn't risk upsetting and losing my affiliates.. however I can't figure out, whether or not it's me being too paranoid here.
So which would you rather:
a) Continue promoting productname.com on just 1 affiliate network, and then redirecting productname.net and .org to the primary .com domain?
b) Promote 1 product on 3 different affiliate networks at once, by setting up your .com domain to one network, .net to another and .org to a third?
As I said, I wouldn't dare to do it personally...
If I try to see it from the affiliates point of view, I think I'd be worried about losing my commission, if my (.com) customer ended up buying from the .net site.
And I also think it might hurt the competition among the affiliate networks, if people started chasing a triple income that way.
As I said, it's just a thought, and to me it would be interesting to hear your opinions about it.
