Opt-in forms IN WordPress messages?

I've searched the forum and Google but failed
to find the answer I was looking for so will
appreciate the help.

Anyway...

I am looking for a way to add a GetResponse
opt-in form to messages in WordPress and if
easily done have it disappear on submit.

Thanks,

Garrie

I don't use GetResposne, but I'm sure they have an HTML version of your autoresponder code?

Yeah, they have a HTML. Will that work in WordPress posts now? They use to mess up the code.

Yeah ... they work well but you may need to change the dimensions somewhat to make them a little smaller.

I have looked for the snippets that make the form disappear but as usual, I placed them where I would remember where I put them. There should be a coder on here that could spit it out in a heart beat.

Thanks Troy. I can find the code to close it since the normal HTML work.

Sometimes(dependent on theme) you will need to center the form to make it look right. The easiest way of doing this is to use the html view and place and old fashion <center> before the code. The trick then is to update the post before you do anything else. If you go back to visual view word press will take the old school code out and the form will be off centered.

For future reference, I ended up using a plugin called embed-it.

This way, WP wont mess up the code.

It's free and at: EmbedIt WordPress Plugin – Embed HTML code in Wordpress without problems! | matteo on wordpress

    Thanks again, everyone.

Why don't you use a tool like Popup Domination to
add a optin popup to your wordpress blog.
