I can't find my product in Clickbank!!

I'm new to Clickbank; actually just published my first product there a few weeks ago.

However, when I search the Marketplace, it is nowhere to be found. I went to another site, cbengine, and there's no trace of it there either.

Obviously there's no promotional or sales activity taking place there....

Did I miss something??? Somebody turn out the lites at Clickbank and not tell me???

You need to make some sales for it to show up.

My immediate reaction is that this is a 'chicken or the egg' scenario.

Should I promote the CB landing page, to generate a CB order, so that it will show up in the CB Marketplace?

It usually shows up in 24 hrs but also yes it helps if you get a few sales through the click bank affiliate link.

    Hi Talltom,

You've probably done this, but just in case you forgot or are unaware...

Make sure you put your details on the "My Site" page in your Clickbank account.

I made that mistake for many months when I was a newbie before I discovered I didn't put any details; hence, my product was not in the CB marketplace.

    Thanks,
    Michael

    Ok,

Perhaps later today, I'll process a sale via the Clickbank page.... I'll let you know if that solves the problem.

You no longer need to make a sale first, your product will
appear in the Marketplace within 24 hours of activation.

Two reasons why it is not there

      - You need to provide a title and description to be listed
      - No sale in the last 30 days

I have recently listed a new product on clickbank and needed support, part of the reply (on Thursday last week) was:-

"Once your account has generated a sale, your listing will be added to the Marketplace within the next 24 hours."

As it hasnt made a sale yet it still isnt showing.

          Strange

It conflicts with the ClickBank FAQ

          FAQ Marketplace - ClickBank

          (Item 1)

          -------------------------------------------------------
Once your Activation Charge is paid, if your account has
been categorized, your site will be added to ClickBank's
Marketplace within the next business day.

Here's the official reply from Clickbank....

Thank you for your inquiry! You are not currently listed in the ClickBank Marketplace due to the fact that your account has not generated a sale within the last 30 days. Your site must generate at least one sale every 30 days to remain listed in the Marketplace.

Once your account has generated a sale, your listing will be added to the Marketplace within the next 24 hours. Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance!

Your thoughts??? With all of the reported issues with Clickbank over the past several months, should I make this 'distribution channel' a part of my strategy? Or focus on something else?

I would go ahead with it Talltom...

I'm sure you can think of a way to generate one sale, even
if you have to drop the price, then affiliates possibly see it.

I would go with it if I were you.
