Camtasia Videos - Google Keyword Tool

Hey guys,
Im shooting a number of camtasia videos within the Google keyword tool. I need to be logged in for these demonstrations, and its occurred to me that my customer ID, and email is viewable.

Customer ID : XXX-XXX-XXXX

Should I be concerned about this information being visible onscreen?

I could blur it out quite easily, but what could a person do with this information? Anything?

Thanks.

Its always safe to hide such information..... So follow it, people can use it against you can try to hack ur e-mail.... Many people will gather your e-mail and then will send you their products updates regularly and much more possibilities....

So its always safe to hide such information......

Its better to be safe than sorry I always say! I mean unless you are taking a risk, but anyways I would just blur it out and keep it simple you don`t want people stealing your personal information that's how people lose there jobs, houses, and even business

Block it out. I do WordPress videos and use dummy sites to record but I have missed blurring a login and someone goes into the site.

Not much damage done but it is aggravating.

Definitely block. You never know who ends up seeing it and if you use some kind of structure in your usernames/passwords they can figure out other passwords.

I would do the steps mentioned above. You never know. I would also block your email address. It may seem, I'm too paranoiac, but you really never know. It can get to wrong hands and you are in troubles.

Yes, block. You never know what would happen if this information were to (say) fall into the hands of a hacker. For added safety, I always set up a separate account for use in videos and use a fake name and address.

I would hide it regardless if showing it is harmful or not. What damage can hiding it cause anyway?

I hide them for my videos. You can sometimes choose only to record the part of your browser where you can't see account data.

    Good luck with the videos
