How do people make money on Fiverr

People do all sorts of things for just $5 at Fiverr. For example 10000 high authority backlinks, article submission to 1200 article directories etc. I was just thinking that all this would take a lot of time and effort and not worth it for $5. Do they use some software or program to automate the process?

They sure use software for it. I sometimes ask people on Fiverr when I want to order blog comments, account creations or article submissions if they do it manually. What I've found out it is 50/50. Some of them understand the point doing it manually and others just got software for it and want to make more out of it.

And I think both the manual and automatic gigs have their customers. So if you want to order article submission to 1200 article directories, you can be sure they use software for it.

One trick is to give them a bonus gig for there positive feedback, yes it sucks to give away, but It puts you at top quicker.

I have great success with Fiverr, both as a service provider and a buyer.

For my own services, I always upsell and my $4 nett fee per gig, has even led to a $270 sale in the one instance. Yes indeed, leveraging is the key to success on Fiverr.

Use your initial sale as a "loss leader" and then upsell them for your more comprehensive offers. I have an article writing gig for instance, and when I deliver the final product, I inform them about my more higher priced proofreading, ebook writing and related services. With respect, most online marketers are not natural writers, and they usually jump at my offer, as I also include some high perceived value freebies like ebooks.

Hope this helps to demystify the capabilities of Fiverr.

Great idea. I've purchased over a dozen gigs on Fiverr and none of the people doing the jobs did what you recommended, but I definitely would have been interested if they did.

This is an excellent way if you want to leverage Fiverr. When I like what people do for me on Fiverr and include an upsell, I usually order two more gigs and if the quality is the same, I'll buy the upsell. Why not? And one of the advantages is that you can build a relationship with the seller and you have a outsourcer for your team.

Most of them are automated, most of them are trash. A lot of people making money on Fiverr have the philosophy "churn and burn." If you want something done right, it's going to cost more than $5.

I've purchased a few gigs from there, but nothing when I need high quality work done.

Yes, $5 seem to cheap for something that can hurt your business. I find most of it using automated software.

It's all automated. If you want quality then don't pay for quantity. 10,000 links for $5 is just ridiculous. The amount of junk never ceases to amaze me.

Find a hot new service. People go on FIVerr to gain exposure. Mostly you are not going to make a lot of money. In fact, you only get four dollars a pop. Actually fiverr gets one. Let me add they take a good long while to pay you. Claim it is to prevent fraud - yeah right, I believe you...

      hi

I agree with the above posts. Majority are using software to produce their products or services within minutes. Arguably, low quality backlinking for example.

However, there are countries that are posting Fiverr gigs and $5 bucks means something totally different for them. Unfortunately, some of these countries only pay $2-3 bucks an hour, so this is good money.

For some, I believe Fiverr is a stepping stone for something bigger; to gain exposure and move on to bigger deals.

      These are IMHO.

      Peace.

I used fiverr for about 6 months and made a "whopping" $650 bucks... Not worth it in my opinion... however, with that said, I did network with quite a few people that have since yielded A LOT more business than the initial $650. So marketing is everything in my opinion... Offer products that you are good at (hobbies are best) and give it your all, and the rest will fall in place.

    Seng,

Fiverr is marketplace for $5 services (of just about anything). All jobs are $5. The person who does the job gets $4 of it and the company gets the rest. It can be a quick way to make a little bit of money and it's a cheap way to get some services.

Many people have a back end, so for example, I sell 100 PLR for $5 and offer 100 more free on the gig to get the buyer to sign up to my list. You also promote relevant services and products to your buyer. Every customer touchpoint is a sales opportunity.

I'm glad you asked ! Many people think of fiverr like a joke...."Oh 5 dollar profits are a waste of time"

    Really?

Tell that to Mcdonalds,BurgerKing,StarBucks,TacoBell,Subway etc etc

Also you are missing the BIG picture of fiverr financial gain

    ARBITRAGE

Indeed, Fiverr CAN make you a fortune - if you are wise enough to use it as a tool - just like any tool if you don't utilize it right it will waste your time, but if you understand every aspect of it you can make a masterpiece of a financial portfolio.

Most of the links are junk. What sellers do, they are buying accounts with a lot of comments on different forums, then change the signature where they but the links for the gigs buyer.
You better buy a gig that offers you 20 links then 1000.
Not sure if that's not legal, but I'm one of those people that sells manually added links.

Yes the majority of them use software. You have to really judge for yourself and think about whether you want a sort of back link blast or if you want some real quality links.
