I know its a marketing gimick but I am always surprise by the fact that people are willing to pay such a high price for those gimicks. So anyone with experience can tell me how they pull this off?

Facebook Service Business - Made $980 in first 9 days, No Reserve, No Exp Req

Traffic Reseller-MADE $2,280 IN LAST 35 DAYS! - PR #1-NO EXP. REQ-NO RESERVE!

Profitable Video Testimonials Seller Business - $1,056 Net Profit last 30 days!

I don't believe they can do that without much advertising.

    On should definitely advertise.

I put out press releases, post in forums, and try to get others to talk about it.

Plus flippa has advanced features that will help promote on flippa itself.

being on the first page in bold is a great investment.

You know, it is very possible! It depends on the story behind the website and how that story is presented in the listing copy!

I have recently had some great successes on Flippa. I honestly hadn't even thought about promoting them outside of flippa either, I just recently thought about that and will do it from now on.

I learned how to structure my listing and present the story. You do that and you will be fine. Ofcourse the more ways you can get the word out the better.

However making sure your auction is structure properly and you present yourself to potential buyers in the right way you will do awesome!

    Great fortune to you

Sitepoint was the largest seller of websites and was the most active portion of the sales section of their forum. Thats where pros went to "flip" sites

Sitepoint spun off JUST THAT SECTION for site sales only and started "flippa"

in fact if you had ever sold on sitepoint, they asked you to help beta test, then when they launched they gave you free advertising credit
