Is it worth the efforts in terms of time/energy

Dear Fellow Warriors,

Some how I have got the impression after searching through this esteemed forum for the last few days, IM does not fetch you high income (more than couple of thousand US$ p.m.).

Even it requires great efforts in terms of time/energy/, to earn more than US$ 1 k p.m. I am talking from the point of view of a single entrepreneur.

I wish, I am wrong.

    People doing IM as a real BIZ don't have the time to hang around all day long in forums.

    I know many, doing a lot more then 1000 usd pm..

    i know somebody living in my city.. making > 30 000 usd / month with ONE website. A content site (large authority now) about gardening...

    I am doing a lot more then 1000 usd myself. And i know some people doing around 1500 usd / month which started just 6 - 12 months ago with IM.

    It is absolut possible for everybody but needs self-discipline and hard work.

    This is a huge industry. There is absolutely a ton of money to be me made in IM. The important thing to remember is that you have to go about it systematically and have a plan that is long term. If you plan correctly and put that plan into actual motion, there's no reason you will fail.

    If it didn't offer rewards, there wouldn't be so many people in this forum that have dedicated years of their lives learning the trade.

    If you think you can't make more than a $1000 a month you are misinformed.

    Yea, you're right. Sites like Google, Yahoo, Youtube etc... are not making more than a few thousands per month online. </sarcasm>

    I've made over a thousand per month doing internet marketing while working for about 20 hours per week and I am no expert. Imagine what those with experience and money can do with their time.

    That seems to be your limited personal belief. Perhaps that's what you are focusing on and that's what you are seeing.

    Matter of fact, I know a few people that have posted today that earn way over the amount you listed.

    Anyways, you shouldn't worry about what others are doing. It's more about what you do, what you bring to the table, and your frame of mind.

    Well, you are not wrong about one thing: it WILL cost time and energy and some money, at least. From what I've seen on this forum, people go out of their way to make sure folks understand that you just can't sit back, put the smack down on the easy button, and count the cash as it flows into your bank account like water from a burst dam. So, they are right about that.

    However, with those factors that preclude and increase the chance for success, earnings are all over the board, from nothing at all to millions. Gotta sow before you reap.

    I'm not sure where you are getting your information? I guess the people I know that are making six figures per month are doing it all wrong!

    There's no doubt it can take a TON of time, energy, and money. No different than any other business.

    Of course it takes work for make money online. Free lunch is only found in mousetraps!

    In my experience, online marketing gives you the most FREEDOM in how you make a living. You aren't stuck to going to a JOB and to a particular location and you can make your own schedule. So online marketing is definitely a winner in my book, and I've been making a living online since 2002.

    If you find an easier way to make money, go for it

    yes I agree everything takes time and a little money,some people are lucky and drop onto the right information straight away and for some it can take years, I would advise getting a mentor and making full use of the free training blogs the warriors run and concentrate on one aspect at a time whether it be affiliate marketing or traffic creation etc.

    It's a tough niche, but you definitely can make alot of money with it - especially if you have a product with a good price (ex: $50). 30 of these in one month will make you $1500. This shouldn't be hard to do if you worked at it hard each and everyday.

    It depends on what you are willing to put into it.

    If I only made $2k a month, I would have to go get a job.

    Success starts with a workable business plan, and a LOT of follow-through action-taking.

    Most people in this forum only dabble in marketing.

    Those who do it for real, have some time available to advise others here in the forum and they do. Some of them have popped up in this thread.
