Help! What software, theme or plugin Can I use to build a product catalog?

Hello fellow Warriors,

I want to build a product catalog site show casing multiple products with their prices but with no add to cart buttons.

You know how products are typically displayed in an eCommerce store, I wish for my sites to have that look but I don't wish to have the cart function.

Elsewhere some people have suggested getting an eCommerce software that can allow me to disable the cart.

I have not been able to find a suitable one so I thought I will create this thread and ask. May be some of you might know a simple software or wordpress plugin that can do this easily.

Please let me know your thoughts.

      Does it allow me to disable the cart function so people can only see the thumbnail product pictures and the prices?

      I don't want people to use the cart. My market shy away from credit cards but respond well by calling me and placing their orders for me to ship after they wire my money. It is a local market.

      So any solutions without the cart function is worth checking.

    I honestly don't know of any plugin that does this, i've been trying to find one for some time

      You could always use the ecommerce plugin and simply disable the button within the plugin's code.

    Just use any ecommerce or ecommerce theme and pay someone on fiverr to tweak it so that there will be no add to car button.

    That's what I'd do.

        I didn't do exactly what you are asking for, but I don't think that could be a problem. I know a guy on Fiverr where I outsource all of the coding work with my wordpress sites. By the way, I meant ecommerce plugin, but I didn't wrote it.

        Just contact this guy on Fiverr I will tweak your WordPress theme for $5 on fiverr.com and before any order contact him and tell him what you want from him. Be very specific, and he usually tweaks it in a couple of hours. And if you are worried about your website privacy or something tell him that the user serenin from Fiverr recommended him. I gave him all my website login details and have a good relationship with him.
