2012 - What Will You Do Differently?

So as a new year roles in, I've decided that this year I am committed to sticking with one strategy until I have "mastered" it and have a solid income stream from it. In 2011 I focused on SEO (with success), but I also made the mistake of jumping around a little too much trying other aspects of IM.

Looking back, I wish I had focused all my efforts on SEO rather than jumping from one strategy to another before actually giving it a chance.

So that's my plan for 2012.
What are yours?

My general plan was to buy a business site that i can outsource the orders for. I have done this and now i plan on growing the website and bringing in customers over the next few months. Hoping to make $15,000 by the end of 2012. But we will see!

Diversify my income streams as much as possible.

Generate a higher passive income stream and invest more heavily.

    Building my lists.

My first sale online was pretty good. My first cheque, satisfying.

But the feeling that someone had signed up for some information from me, liked what I wrote enough to read the mails that went out and then bought something I recommended, all the while I was sitting at home picking my nose, was absolutely fantastic. I felt like I had cheated somehow.

    More of that please.

I will try to build my lists, diversify my income and start trying to make money with Amazon and Adsense instead of just reading about everyone else making money with them. Also I'm going to publish a short story on Amazon and launch a forum. All things I haven't done before so it should be an interesting year.

Actually I meant to add that building my list is also something I am focusing on. This is a must in internet marketing.

First thing I will do differently in 2012 is narrowing my focus. This year I will focus on product creation. I have committed to creating at least 12 WSO's one each month and building two authority nice sites.

The second thing I will do differently is be more active at seeking help. They are a lot of things I can get better at, so I will seek out experts in those areas to become better at them and also out outsource those task.

Third, I will actively invest more money building my business. This does not mean buying more info products, but rather invest in content creation, backlinking, and even test some paid traffic.

Concentrating on learning a skill set. Since most people here at the forum are trying to get ahead in life and in our business, there is a lot to be responsible. Being an owner of an venture requires us to be versed in all aspects and it's real easy, well at least for me, to get sidetracked with fun stuff.

I need to establish skill sets and when I feel comfortable on one then go to another.

This is a great question because this has focused me even more for 2012

I will not buy another WSO, as I already know everything, I need to know to make very good money online.
    My plan:
    1) Make a good 5000$ online
    2) Start building a list

That is enough for one year! But I am through with trying different methods all at one time

I know that paid advertising brings instant traffic, but it would be so nice if i can make money without paying for advertising at all. So here's my goal:

If i do advertise, it'll probably be on a site like Warrior Forum, or any good long term advertising investments.

Until then, in 2012... i'll be using free marketing like a champ everyday for the whole year. This is my goal. Last year was wasteful. This year will be fruitful.

Yea I love the free traffic as well. I'm into SEO, and its a great feeling when you see each of your sites making $500 a month, without spending too much money.
      All the best with 2012.

I will make a CLEAR PLAN and list down all the goals that I want to achieve. I will be more of an action taker this time. I will avoid paying attention to those shiny objects.

In 2012 I will create an income stream that requires minimal work to maintain, and that allows me to pay bills and enjoy life without having a time consuming JOB.

My biggest resolution for 2012 is to really be in the present moment.....I know it sounds silly but I found that with so many projects going on, I was never 100% focused at the task at hand since I was always worrying about "what-ifs" in my other projects that were always looming on the horizon. It also extended into my personal life as well and I could never give anything my all.

I became inspired to do this after reading "The Power Of Now" just before the new year and it really shifted my mindset for both personal and business aspects.

More outsource and grow what I have. I want to get together one method that seems to work the best for me and build upon it. So the main goal is to grow what I already have and outsource more.
