Facebook Pages: Let's Brainstorm Services!!

I've been thinking about services to offer for Facebook fan pages. One would be taking a fan page and managing social interactions with their fans, i.e. keeping in touch and engaging with their potential customers. This could be done per month, which means an opportunity to charge a monthly fee.

However, I feel like this alone may not be enough. What other services can we think of that could be offered to owners of FB pages? I'm sure there's a lot of cool stuff out there. Maybe we can all help each other come up with ideas.

Anyone have any ideas? I did a search, but didn't really come up with anything. I'm sure this has been brought up a lot of times though.

Besides interaction with the fans, one items is the regular updates/posts on the fan page to keep it fresh... like conducting some related poll...update of the forthcoming new products/services/promotion etc... (unless you classify these all under the customer engagement).

The other service that you can provide is to link their blog update (if any) into their fb fan page or any of their social networks (this can be done automatically with proper tool).

    Cheers!

Well, you can use FB pages to capture leads and opt-ins too.

    Cheers!

I was just going through my back-link report at my google-webmasters account and what i saw was around 150 backlinks from facebook.
These were the links shared on my fan page. I believe FB can now be used as a good source for link exchange.

Interesting... How do you avoid being flagged as a spammer?

I think Facebook have measures in place to stop spammers, such as posting the same link repeatedly can flag your account up.

They perform this normally. However, for annoying marketers trying to divert ones traffic from their page, it will be up to the admin(s) of the FB page to sort them out. Regardless any page with value and plenty of engaged fans worth spending time on should be monitored always; I suspect.

All the above including driving targeted prospective fans to their page. Amongst everything else this could be the killer add on service. This is because this is essentially lead generation for the business in question.

I like this idea! Integrating automatic updates for them

That's another good idea. Do you mean in terms of installing a lead capture form on their page?

    hi,

you offer them a service, in which you could help them generate traffic to these pages. This could be by setting up facebook adverts correctly to able them to genertae cheap traffic!

    thanks
