The Great Feeling Of Helping Others! :)

Hello Warriors!

I don't know about you, but what I love about my business is the satisfying feeling of helping others.

Of course, I like to make money. But what makes me feel proud of what I do is not the money I make, it's the testimonials I receive from people achieving their goals thanks to my products.

I strongly believe this is one of the main reasons why many people fail to build an online business. All they care about is making money quickly. If their goals were to help 100 persons per day instead of making $100 per day, their results would be much more better.

Reciprocity is a natural cycle. Give others what they need/want, and they will give you what you need/want. It's not about business, it's about a human natural feeling.

When you receive help, you feel in debt with the person that helped you. Whether it was a glass of water when you were thirsty or food when you were starving, you will be willing to give that person whatever he/she needs when they need help because you feel in debt with that one person.

Do you understand how powerful that is?

When you build your business around helping people instead of around making money, your business will grow like you never thought it would. And the money you will make cannot ever be compared to the great feeling of seeing people achieve their goals thanks to you.

How about you help satisfy my goals by providing me with a lot of money. I promise it will make you feel better once I tell you how gratified I am for your help. Thank you in advance.

In all seriousness, I agree. It's the foundation of the acronym NECST, which all people should follow when starting any business. Need. If you can solve someones need by helping them, you not only have a chance at future success, but you'll also gain the satisfaction of helping others with your product or service.

LOL! Is your goal to make someone give you money or make money yourself?

That depends on if I can convince someone to give me the money first. If not, then I guess I'll be forced to create some type of goal or whatever

Haha! It's best to teach someone to fish rather than giving him the fishes... And we appreciate much more the things we acquire by our own efforts.

That's why many people who've won the lottery are now broke.

100% true, yet most refuse to accept it.

They want things on a silver platter delivered yesterday and will complain if they have to actually think for themselves a bit.

I too often feel the same. I always wanted to help people in a broader way. Today when ever a client comes to me and says we have done a wonderful job for his business my heart swells with pride and satisfaction. We mostly promote small businesses, entrepreneurs and their start-ups.

This sums up the way I feel exactly! Of course we are all here to make money, but it's a truly great feeling to get people thanking you for your e-book or whatever else you are offering that has really helped them!

      Exactly.

Back when I was starting, I started promoting a product to my list (not IM-related). And I got messages telling me the product was crap. That's when I knew the importance of reviewing a product before promoting it to my list.

That first mistake almost killed my list. But it also helped me build a good business from that moment on.

At first you are in this because you want to make X amount of money to live Y way of life. But then, with experience and some $$ in your bank account, the game changes. I totally agree with you. There is not a better feeling than helping others and make money along the road.

Yes, I feel much better when my customers are happy with what I provide and that forces me to help them even more.

    Right on the money Frankie,

I noticed a big increase in income when I focused ourly on
    helping people reach their goals.

Have you read 'The Go Giver'? It's great and explains about
    the Law of Compensation.

"Your income is determined by how many people you serve and how well you serve them."

Very powerful and it is the only way to true wealth.

I completely agree. I started thinking that way a long time ago, and it truly does make a big difference. You then start seeing that in many other successful companies, that they had to be aware of this, too and aren't just popular for who knows what reason.

This should be the basis on which we all do business. Sadly the concept of helping others is lost on a lot of people. Maybe its all the hype promising you'll make money in seconds without doing any work.

We should all focus on helping others as it is not only more profitable in the long run but as said above it makes our business more enjoyable and rewarding.

    To helping others...

"Is not the purpose of business to serve?...
to GIVE first before expecting to receive?

It perplexes when people put *money* on
the for front of their mind...before serving.

...yet to earn money we must give.

Even something as heinous as drugs or cig
    -gerattes...

    ...we must give."

It took me some time to embrace this idea
because for so long I ignored it.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to make
    money...

...but what we all soon discover (oftentimes
the hard way) is not a goal...

it's a means to an end.

Because in the end what matters most?

People DO just want to connect - and help-
ing them solve THEIR problems is a powerful
    way to do so.

I've found when I reach out to help someone
solve THEIR problems their almost always will
-ing to bend over backwards to help me solve
my own (most cases, financial compensation).

    You nailed it frankie...

    right on the head.

Giving is a great thing. Being able to help others completes the circle. Gives back what we have all taken at one time or the other. Yes we all have needed help at some point.

    New marketers take heed.

Decide early on in your career how far the free (help) line extends. Chisel it in stone. Don't cross that line unless the circumstance is extreme. Don't think the only help you can give is free.

When I first started one on one coaching I would grow so emotionally attached to members I never got to the point of charging a lot of the time. Same with a lot of services offered.

The ones I helped the most were the ones that ended up demanding the most.

When I got sick, the ones that got the most for free never showed up. The ones I charged the most were there offering whatever I needed and would not have hesitated if I had took them up on their offers.
