Starting out with $200

Hello Everyone,

I am new to the WarriorForum ( but have been reading for a while ) and this is my first post. First of all the W.F is a `fountain` of knowledge and a great resource. So thank all of you for the useful information.

I have $200 in my paypal account, this is my budget and I would like to start an online business. One that hopefully makes a profit!


Anyway here are a afew of my ideas. Feel free to tell me if they are good or bad.

1. Buy dozens of .info domains cheaply. Fill them up with content, ad adsense. Use onlywire/social marker and 3way links. Hopefully start making a steady adsense income. Monetize more if i have good traffic.

2. Choose a specific niche, make a squeeze page. Use video marketing, capture emails and then send them offers.

Thats all i can think of right now. If you were starting off with just $200 what would you do?

I just want to see some basic results. Do something that works and then rinse and repeat. I welcome any PM`s and suggestions.

    Welcome to Warrior Forums !

    Firstly ssslloowww down ..... put your $200 away & study the posts all over the Forum

    Next make a plan ...... ie what you want to achieve from IM
    1. ie ~ quit job
    2. Make $3k residual per month
    3. Help others to quit job
    4. Donate $700 t oa specific charity
    5. etc ...
    Then work out ~ by reading posts on this Forum ~ how to achieve this

    I would not buy .info, they are seen as spammy.

    Here's what I would do:

    1. Pick a market. Do some keyword research to make sure your market is one that can make you money. Do a search for Google Adwords Keyword Tool and use it to find some good moneymaking keywords in a subject that you are interested in.

    2. Get a good .com domain in that subject area and start a blog. Try to get lots of links to the blog, while posting frequently. Use your keywords and make each post about a good keyword phrase.

    3. After a few months, when you start getting traffic, add AdSense to the blog. This is when you will start making money.

    4. Keep building that blog, and start another one.

    This is not the quick way, but it is steady and sure. You will learn a lot from your first blog that you can use when you build more blogs later.

    This will cost you $10 for the domain name and $10/month or so for hosting. Save the rest of your money while you learn some stuff.

    Keep reading etc. as was suggested. But meanwhile you are creating your first blog, so you can test out some of the things you read about.

    Once you discover the niche you wish to promote (after a good deal of research i.e Google Keyword Tool comes to mind) you can use a bit of that money to outsource article creation, or certainly write your own to build backlinks and unique content!
