New to forum and Affiliate Marketing

Hello everyone! I just wanted to make an introductory post as I hope to start posting more frequently. I am so happy to have found this forum. There is a wealth of information to absorb. I imagine it'll take me quite a while to "catch up".

I am new also, to affiliate marketing, and have only read a few good books. I am pretty decent at designing website, and really love doing, so I think eventually I will start doing some web design for others, or sharing some of my knowledge.

I am kind of all over the place right now, and find it hard to stay focused on one thing. I have 3 blogs: littlebigdreamers.com : an entreprenuer mommy blog, thetrollsnest.com: a blog on sculpting dolls out of polymer clay, and thiscomputerfairy.com: a blog about computer troubleshooting and I will offer my web designing services on there.

In the midst of those blogs, I am working on building a large social networking site that I have a lot of faith in(but not any help, cuz I have money to pay anyone)), and a local website that has a lot of potential as well, but again, its a difficult site.

I just got started in good adsense, Kontera, and amazon affiliates. I have signed up for clickbank but don't know what to promote yet.

I would be happy to hear any tips you may have for me and look forward to offering my own in the future.

I know this field takes time to develop but I am determined and motivated to succeed in it, so we'll see how it goes!

One last thing, a question, roughly how long did it take for you to start making some money. I have gotten no clicks, nothing yet. But I also haven't written enough articles or finished seo so I am not too concerned. I just wish I could hurry up and start getting somewhere.

It's not about the number as it is about the quality, You have have one very high rated article and get on page 1 of google. You can have 200 trashy articles and no where will you be seen.

The questions can not be answered with a single sentence. Some people market in the right spot and get a sale the first day, some people fumble around on the net and never make a sale.

You also gave us not enough info. First I would check the seo of the site through the various tools that are available. Like what are the keywords where do they rank, will those keywords get me sales. Now with the keywords where and how should I market.
I could go on and on and on.

If it was simple, I wouldnt have to work full time as a nurse and do this. I am used to 80,000 a year and have to continue to work till I get to that spot.

P.S. I do not subscribe to threads any longer so if you have a question or statement you have to p.m. me or find one of my threads. I do subscribe to those.

You advance search. Some Warriors don't like replying on thread that has been already discussed
