What is the EASIEST Wordpress Theme To Design Sites With?

Warriors, I know Wordpress themes have been discussed a lot here, but I'm wanting to know what is the most flexible and easiest theme to use to create your own website with. By this I mean the easiest to put in your own unique header image, changing colors, layout, navigation, etc. without having to know much about CSS or coding.

Recommendations?

I think Woo's framework makes Woo one of the easiest to customize and add your ads. I do change color schemes myself in css, but they have basic color changes in the framework.

As far as flexibility goes, Thesis (I use it for all my sites). It's a premium site but I love the simplicity of design and appearance. No problem creating any sort of pages with the theme.

HOWEVER (I know, there always has to be a drawback), you have a little bit of a learning curve with Thesis but no CSS or php (I am allergic to both). IMHO, the learning curve is well worth it.

Depending on your requirements, the latest out-of-the-box standard WP themes are pretty useful, too.

      I hope this helps

At the moment I'm using Elegant Themes. Their support staff has been just great, to say the least!
I have NO css code experience, kind of learning as I go. I focus more on the SEO. Anyway I just installed another theme today called Quadro in less than 2 hours, of course there is always fine tuning, but just experiencing WordPress since December 1st you so if that says anything.
I know someone, maybe you all do to, MITZ "worpress website builder" , she swears by THESIS. I don't have any posts but this one so I can't HYPERLINK....

I use the Socrates theme. It is easy to use...even for complete newbies.

I can build a basic site (w/o content) in just a few minutes.

I love the Flexibility Flex-Squeeze theme. You can build awesome squeeze pages that are pre-designed with graphics, layout and all. I use it for most of my sites.

I use Woothemes and Elegant Press. I also just started with ProReview theme which I love for my review site. Headway 3.0 just came out and provides a drag and drop customization that is amazing. I bought into that as well. I'm a theme junkie...

I'm a big fan of the Thesis theme as well. You may want to consider paying a few bucks for a premium theme so you have the support that comes with it. No matter how user friendly a them is chances are at some point you might have to make changes to the underlying code.

If you need to change the code there are a lot of places to outsource that work very very cheaply.

    Have fun,

    Gary

It really depends on what you want to do but why not mess around with the one that comes preloaded with WP? That way you can learn how to add your own header and backgrounds, customize the layout, etc. Once you can do that you can advance to the more intense themes.
