Wow... www.Revver.com seems to be down.

Or are they just not reachable from within Australia?

I loved to use them for members area tutorials as they share part of their ad revenue with their users. Also the uploaded video quality was really good... especially for screenshot tutorials.

If they are down for good (I hope not), I will have to find an alternative... any suggestions?

    Looks like they're down everywhere.

See this site for some dialog about them:

Edit: just noticed that the link got censored. those asterisks replaced a certain four-letter word that starts with "f".

Dan's content is irregularly read by handfuls of people. Join the elite few by reading his blog: dcrBlogs.com, following him on Twitter: dcrTweets.com or reading his fiction: dcrWrites.com but NOT by Clicking Here!

Dan also writes content for hire, but you can't afford him anyway.

I can't get it here either (US).

I heard they were having financial problems, but I don't know if they've actually shut down. If that were the case, I think they'd at least have a "Sorry, we closed." message or something.

Possibly it's just a technical glitch.

They could at least have warned users... or redirected the sites traffic to VU. (would have earned them millions in commissions)

Revver is back up now. And they did warn their users... sort of. they posted on the front page that they were going down for maintenance on friday. However they were down 3 days instead of 3 hours, and they didn't communicate with their customers (hint, ever hear of twitter, revver?)

Too late for me, I lost half of my podcast subscribers during the outage. I, and I suspect many other people have finally jumped ship.
