Newbie: Landing Pad or Blog?

Hi everyone! I am a newbie that has been scanning this forum for a decent amount of time. I previously had a blot that I ran for about 6 months to get my feet wet. I had good discipline and updated it daily. Got up to the point where I would get about 75-100 views a day (not too bad i think?).

Like many people out there I want to make a few extra bucks. I don't need to make a fortune but a few dollars would be nice. I am debating about starting up the blog again and making it focused (say on golf) and then doing reviews of products and such or creating a few landing pages that focus on a couple products and market the heck out of them (Facebook, etc.)

I am at the point where I am stalled because I can't make up my mind. I am leaning toward the landing pad as it is easier to get out there. The blog is tricky because although I know a lot about golf I want to make sure I have enough content to post each day let alone review items.

If anyone has some advice for me I'd appreciate the help.

Thanks!

If you mean to access the War Room, you'd have to pay a one-time fee. Apparently it's a great place with lots of free content - the place to pay is in your control panel.

This is the order I do it (because my mentors adviced me to) and how I advise others.

Sell something that people are already buying.
So the keyword research to make sure it gets plenty of global monthly searches and doesn't have too much competition. If it fits that, see what you can sell to make money for it.
Buy a domain. Put up a squeeze page (also called a landing page, sales page or opt-in page).
Tie the landing page to an auto responder.
    Give value to your list.
Every so often, offer them something of real value. (I only offer things that I have used and consider a great value for the money.)

Then, set up a blog on the same domain name. like this domainname.com/blogname

Now post articles to the blog.

    That is just an outline.

So, since you already have a blog, I would re-start the blog and add a landing page to that domain name. Example: domainname.com/landingpagename

Set that up to get opt ins and create a list as I stated above.

I would definitely start blogging right away. You can use your keyword research (as mentioned above) to find products that are selling and become an affiliate.

Then you can blog some reviews on the products and throw in your affiliate links here and there. Or direct your readers to your landing pages from there.

Give away golfing instructional ebooks in exchange for an email address so that you can start building a list, too...

Add some golf banners for which you are also an affiliate marketer. You can really monetize it if you do it right if you learn how to sell with your written words.

Wordpress blogs rank well in Google because they're content driven. Make sure that it's SEO optimized and social media integrated (facebook, twitter, etc..) Wordpress makes this simple with available 3rd party plug-ins.
