To get in touch with a vendor, go to the sales page and look for an email address. Often at the bottom of the sales page there will be a link for affiliates and there is sometimes an optin on that page or some sort of contact info.

Form submits to sales should be 1 to 1 but sometimes payment processing issues such as someone fat fingering a cc number or trying to use a fraudulent card can cause your submits to be more than your actual sales. I think that sometimes when they start entering information into the checkout page and they miss something and the page sort of "reloads", this can cause the skewed sumbit numbers... just speculating though...

What's worse is the conversion rate on the order form page. Almost 30:1, these aren't the sales page conversion, but they people who are clicking the "buy it now" button on the sales page. There doesn't seem to be a direct method of contacting the vendor... but i'll keep trying.

Yea just go to the 'Contact' page on their sales page and drop them a line. At the end of the day, they are just webmasters like you.

Of course, most have no "contact page", per se, linked to from their sales page.

Some vendors give no contact details at all on the sales page, as you've presumably noticed.

ClickBank requires them to have a way for customers to contact them, but not for prospective customers.

I never mind this, myself, because at least it means their sales page isn't a "leaky" one, in that regard.

I always try and contact those simply by sending an email to "admin", with copies to "info" and "support" at theirdomain.com. One of them will nearly always get through. (Sometimes all three, perhaps!).

That depends on many things.

ClickBank has told me that in some niches (internet marketing, make money online, forex and maybe one or two others) the rate of credit-cards being declined, and/or other processing problems at ClickBank's end is a little higher than average. So it depends what sort of products you're promoting - as well as on one or two other things, such as a whole succession of failed order-form submissions all in the space of 10 minutes or so, which can signify one person having great difficulty paying, for some technical reason. Not an easy question to answer, in other words.

For myself, if the overall proportion of sales to order-form submissions went below 75%, I'd certainly be concerned.

If you want to get the email address of the vendor you can also try to use a "WhoIs" website that gives you the data of the person who registered the domain (the seller)

Agree! Get and check into the details of those CB vendors contacts, email address or numbers, usually clickbank requires vendors to provide contact details.

The quickest way to get in touch with the vendor is to check the email that Clickbank sent you when you made your purchase. The vendors details is at the bottom. You can also click on the clickbank support link which is at the top of the same email and that will take you to clickbank page with all the vendors details.

Hi guys, thanks everyone to all of your responses. Unfortunately with the vendor i'm promoting doesn't have a so-called "contact us" page. I tried the WhoIS method and there was no contact details. I don't think I would want to purchase the product just to be able to contact the vendor. But what i've managed to do is use web archice's site (waybackmachine) to find an older version of the sales page. Looks like I have found a number, but it's an old version so the number might be cancelled. So i guess i'll try calling the number and also try doing what alexa said about sending the emails. Hopefully I can get in touch with the vendor.
