A wso that every newbie out there would buy!!!

Hey Warriors,

My biggest question about the wso forum is why are so many seasoned product creators missing the largest part of the wso buyers community?

The aim of releasing a product as a wso is to get sales! but who is your largest target audience?

Answer - Newbies

You just have to look at the amount of warriors there are out there already with tons joining every month, all constantly on the wso forum looking for the one thing thats going to kick start their careers online! Yet all the wso's are pretty much the same and im not talking about content, im talking about format! Alot of them are great products with great information and a few real golden nuggets, and despite sellers stating newbie friendly they really arent!!

Blueprints are great, screenshots are great and videos are great, but do they really give what newbies need? I dont think so! so what does a newbie need?

Answer - a plan

Who is your average newbie?
someone who has a full time day job, maybe a family, a social life, kids etc etc... My point is the average newbie has very little time, and reading through 95% of wso's they will all overwhelm a newbie into not taking action, they do this for example by saying 6 easy steps, buy a domain, build a site blah blah! which seems like simple steps when you know what your doing but remember this is several days work for a noob if not weeks! Info is great but a plan is whats needed! and one that fits around someones busy life!

Think back to when you started out, wouldnt you of loved it if someone considered you may only get an hour a day to work online, and taught you how to build a business/income slowly using a day by day plan with tasks to complete, and you could only work on the next once one is completed! Something that ensures you take action, something that gives you a time scale and a goal to work towards each day and most importantly acheivable as its completing things that gives you satisfaction and drive to continue! a daily plan would be less overwhelming, give people time to think/learn and implement without getting info overload!!

Yet every wso out there concentrates on purely info products where as there is a massive need for infocoaching products and their really much out there! If I was a product creator its certainly the route I would take if I had the experience that some of the warriors out have!

Anyway just my 2 cents!!!

Best wishes

That's a good observation. Why don't you create one?

Louie, you are right. Building out a plan like this could be great for new folks. However, it could be bad as well, as folks also need to be able to understand why they are doing what they are doing and then be able to adapt as things in IM change.

One of my favorite WSOs I ever purchased did something like that. It went over every step and then gave you an action plan where you could get everything going in about 2 hours a day. He gave a list of tasks and how long they should take once you understand how to do them and the whole system was set up so you just did enough to add up to 2 hours a day and you could get results. Of course more work meant faster results, but I used that 2 hour plan as my starting point for all my ClickBank sites. It was called "Rapid Affiliate System" by sirtom.

I have the feeling many of the WSOs are tailored exactly for newbies, just not in the way you explained.

They exploit the naivity and lack of experience that newbies have to get them to buy something that makes them rich fast and without effort. All those "I earned $X in just Y days" WSOs are targeted at newbies. Everyone with a bit of experience knows these claims don't apply in the general case. Experienced WSO buyers don't buy these WSOs for their claims. They buy for the hope of finding an additional trick or tool they didn't know about before that helps them with their existing business plan.

I created a massive guide for newbies last year. And just when I was about to launch it another seasoned Warrior released the Newbit Bible. Mine went on the back burner. Maybe it's time, huh? Or maybe I'll sell the rights to this pup.

    Hi

A great idea and one I am thinking about.

Some people slag WSOs with a lot of bonuses to "pad" the offer, but adding bonuses that help Newbies get up to speed (Cpanel & Easy WP Install, Beginning Traffic Plan, etc) can really add value if they can help take action.

Experienced marketers are going for the value in your main product anyway and you can hit them up for more cash with upsells.

I have also seen WSOs that say things like "teaching you to install WordPress is beyond the scope of this WSO, but here are some links to tutorials on YouTube ...".

PS Thumbs up to Travlinguy. It's time
