I wouldn't pay anything. If nobody likes my content that's tough, I would rather get none than get false likes that are meaningless. Or I could improve my content

I think, plugin like this ( Like Us on Facebook to Unlock Content | WP Eden ) will be more effective rather then paying for each like

I think you should check out Fiverr. They sell Facebook likes at a flat rate of $5.00 per order (depends on how many likes you want).

It's like getting optins for a specific niche...LIKES are optins. Would you want optins that don't care about your content? If you could sell niche specific LIKES then you could charge a bit more.

well fiverr has plenty user giving away 500-1000 likes for $5 with over 3000 reviews... I think the buyer's moto may be either of them:

    1. He thinks that having XXXXXX number likes is really cool.
    2. He is willing to make a product video and wants to show off the number.
    3. He thinks other users when they come to the website will be impressed by the number of likes and might spend more time on it.

Thats what I can think off why people are selling and buying facebook likes. Go to some shady forums and they will even sell of facebook accounts 10,000 accounts for $YYY...

Depends on situation.. is the likes really likes from real people or are they bots?

    Real likes - I'll spend $0.25 - $0.50 (gushcloud)
    Bot likes - maybe $0.01- $0.05 (Fiverr)

hope this will help you a little,

    may God bless you,

I think it is hard to know for sure, if like some others have said they are real likes, then it could be worth a lot more, but how do you know for sure, if they are real or if they are manipulated,

(not saying yours are or are not, just saying that this is likely how most people see it)

When you have people that are given an incentive, in some form or another, either content, or actual payment, or as a method of a reward, or bribe, to click a link or a Google plus, how effective is it really.

To me it would seem like a psychological catch 22, some people would not feel comfortable doing it, and others would not care at all.

The real test would come if you can establish a real relationship, preferably in the form of revenue or becoming a customer.

Still, it is an interesting topic, )

  • How facebook has structured their algorithm now is... basically paid likes are next to worthless... ('real' likes aren't even worth that much unless you are *constantly* engaging the 'real' users on facebook).

The way of the 'easy money' from 1,000 likes on facebook probably ended about 2-3 years ago... 5-6 months after it started...

It's not a bad idea to buy some bot likes on Fiverr.com. Some people likes concrete fanpage because they are looking at how much people like this fanpage.

It is harder to gather fans from fanpage with 0 likes and with fanpage when there are already 10.000 likes.

That's the only reason we have ever used it, to help jump start a fan page, other than that it's proved useless.

Exactly! What guy do women want? The guy that's always alone or the guy that always has at least two or three smoking hot women on his arms? Getting likes is easier when you already have tons of them.

I pay really minimum per like, i get up to 0.2 to 0.3 cents per click every time. Since i know how to do it and been marketing in facebook with cpa offers for couple years. So if you want to get lots of fans be as targeted as you can.

I was just thinking about starting to do the same thing with cpa.. im think about making a fan page and call it something like "free gift cards" and after i get a few 1000 likes start posting CPA offers..

have you made any money doing this?

The person, who understands how to give people what they want, does not need to find schemes to cheat the system.

So we have gathered here tonight, to watch this person, create another thread because they are looking to buy what they cannot get without paying for it...

I don't know why this question has gotten so much resistance. I would pay $10 to get an initial 1000 fans to make my pages look good---even if they're bots. The social proof only needs to improve conversion enough to make an extra sale that wouldn't have happened otherwise. So for $10 it's worth it for that alone.

For me personally, paying for LIKES feels unethical, but, then again, my values might be different than some.

I prefer to using Facebook ads to drive traffic and then provide awesome content from there. I received over 2K likes in a very short period of time (days). I used a FB ad coupon that I found for $8 that gave me a $50 credit and then signed up for a free coupon that FB was giving out that gave me a $100 credit.

This fan page is in the dog niche and I continue to make money from it daily thru various CPA, Amazon, and Commission Junction, etc. offers. People repeatedly tell me they love my Fan Page because I focus on providing valuable, high quality content, and cool offers that I have discovered for this particular breed of dog.

So, to answer your question, I wouldn't pay for LIKES, although many would and do, it can be tempting.

    To each their own.

    Teri

What wrong with people nowadays, you want to buy a facebook "like", lets get smart and count it. One "Like" will cost you 0,01, so, 100 like will cost you 1 dollar. Now, lets get to the point, even a small group community will have 5000 until 10000 like, so imagine that you will $50 just to be a part of small Facebook group community. How about you go to that WSO and buy one of it, and start doing some real try, with possible result.
