A question on product creation PLEASE HELP

Hi Guys,

On my squeeze page I wanted to find a way to provide great
content on dating and eventually sell my new Ebook to potential
customers.

I have seen a lot of people using the 3 value page formula before selling
a product and I wanted to know If this is the best way to go.

I haven't really figured out how I can provide great content
without talking too much, giving too much info away, and risk being
able to fulfill even more when people buy my product.

I have heard the term "Tell the what and Sell the how" a thousand
times but I still don't really understand the science behind
doing so.

I am hoping someone can share their expertise on creating great
valuable content that people need without really giving the how
to do so away yet.

I know It may sound simple but it's a little harder than it sounds
(In My Opinion).

Is there anyone able to share some tips on this topic?

Thank You

I would just concentrate on your #1 biggest 'secret'. Don't be worried about giving them 3 value pages packed with great content. You want to give them something that is short and sweet and really easy to digest BUT will also give them that "a-ha" moment right away.

Don't think that the value of information is relative to the volume of information. It's not the case. Too many people make this mistake and create these huge courses thinking it somehow means they can charge more. Some of the best products and tips I have ever read have been only a few sentences long.

It's simple. There's a lot to telling the what or what it is. You tell them what dating will do for them. How they'll feel when they finally get it. The actual "what" is one of the features of your guide.

How they're gonna feel when they're finally able to get out there represents the benefits of your stuff. Benefits appeal to emotion. Features appeal to logic. They might feel proud that they've finally made the connection. They might feel secure that they've found someone. Getting good at getting dates will appeal to vanity and maybe even lust.

To sell these feelings you never once have to mention a single thing about the methods. Just that you have them and that those methods are going to change your customers forever. Got it?

One other thing. Please don't call your stuff ebooks. eBooks are considered cheap. The Internet is loaded with ebooks. eBooks sell for change. They're a dime a dozen.

Guides, programs, special reports, tutorials, courses, etc., all command much more in price. And all you gotta do is give the product a different name.

To simplify the "what" vs "how" with an example:

        FREE WHAT INFO:

A short report for those who want to get lean and mean. It goes over the what - short-burst intense exercises, diet changes, etc.

        PAID FOR HOW-TO INFO:

Shows the reader exactly how to do a series of muscle-toning exercises, gives diet regimens, etc. In other words, it lays it all out for them.
