Please help, My mind is dazzle with choices now

This is the first time I ever owned a (dot)com and trying to make some profit out of it. Even though I buy my own domain, but I am using free hosting server. Is that bad? Should i swap to using Hostgator?

I'm also using Imnica as an autoresponder. They give free service for up to 1,000 subscriber. I'm using Optin-crusher which make a optin form appear at the bottom of the page. I'm giving away free e-book that I wrote myself in exchange for their e-mail.

My main keyword for my blog is "Make Money Online"
I set it up a few days ago. I also write my own blogpost and schedule them to post every 7am and 7pm. That will make it 2 blog post per day.

The only backlink I have is this warrior forum and a few blog comments.
I linked my Squidoo lens about blogging for money to my main money blog.

So my question is, I have 55$ in my paypal account and how am I going to use it to make my blog more profitable?
I have a few choice in mind but just can't decide what to do

1.) Buy backlinks from fiverr.com
2.) Subscribe to Hostgator/BlueHost
3.) Buy adwords from Google
4.) Buy adverts from facebook
5.) Give up this niche and find another lower competition niche

I would definitely choose to use HostGator instead of the free hosting. HG is great and super easy to work with. Are you using WordPress for your blog?

Did you do any keyword research before choosing that keyword? You could dig into that keyword and possibly find a sub-niche within that keyword. Make Money Online is a super competitive keyword so dig in a see what you can find.

    BTW, nice looking blog. :-)

Thanks, I decided to swap to Hostgater. Probably trying to drill my niche deeper like affiliate marketing.

Okay, since it hasn't been said yet...

This is your first .com (first domain?) and you're trying to make money with it...

So what market have you gone after? "How to make money online"

Internet Marketing is a highly competitive niche, and you're proposing to teach/show people how to make money online, without having done so yourself.

It's a much better idea to build some level of success and income in another niche/market.

While many people will buy internet marketing/make money online information and do nothing with it, do you really feel you have the knowledge to take someone with no internet marketing experience and tell them how to go online and successfully make money in 30, 60, 90 days? 180 days? 5 years?

I'm not trying to be harsh, but it seems to be a common error in judgement to jump into the make money online market with both feet, without the knowledge to actually make money yourself.

I'm surprised this hasn't been brought up by someone else already. (Maybe I'm today's grouch, I don't know.)

What should I do now? I can't let this domain ends up in the trash can?!

So you're suggesting me to go for option 5?

So, I'm subscribing to Hostgator tomorrow.
That leaves me choices to buy Adwords from google? Or Adverts from facebook?
    Or buying backlinks from fiverr?

Buying ppc ads are too expensive and temporary
When the ads stop then the traffic stops

Buying backlinks from fiverr is more long term and less expensive

    Hey Tenzho,
Which free hosting service R U using?
I would say keep on posting good useful articles & resources and then later sell it in Flippa if U go for another niche.

    now give my answer

You've chosen probably the most saturated or one of the most saturated markets available.

I would use Hostgator rather than a free host. I would also not expect to rank on page one for Make Money Online any time in the near future. Very big players with thousands of backlinks and tons of on page SEO are there and won't give it up easily.

Since you've already started on it, narrow the focus of your posts down from just general make money online. I would use categories to narrow your focus, such as traffic, social networking, etc. Use social bookmarks to help get those posts indexed and get some traffic.

You should probably do some keyword research to discover other narrower niches to post about.

That's true. This was not a good idea. To earn money in this niche you need brand which some people built for years. Also to get high with keyword "Make money online" or "How to make money online" will be almost impossible with your savings.

I would start from finding less satured niche.

This seems ironic. You are building a business about making money online but you yourself doesn't know how to. No offense but I suggest you try to make money using other niche through google adsense or selling e-books.

I agree with the other posters. Go Gator. But don't buy links. It'll sink your site, especially that crap from Fiverr. You're better off investing in content and social book marketing it.

Do not even consider PPC. You will lose so much money it isn't funny. You don't do PPC until you know everything there is to know about how to do a PPC campaign profitably, and believe me, Adwords took a boatload of my money before I learned that lesson.

You don't sell sites on Flippa for $12. The listing alone costs $19.

You don't have the knowledge or experience to be teaching Make Money Online. Sometimes, newbies make a mistake and jump the gun and buy a domain and enter a niche they have no real business being in. Sometimes it's better to cut your losses and dump the effort and learn some more and begin again. That might be the case here.

I would use Hostgator I have used them for a while now and am very pleased with their service. I agree with some other members here and break down your main niche into a more defined one. Good luck!

    Just an idea...

Do you think it might be worth you learning how to make money online, before starting a blog that attempts to teach others how to make money online?

Kind of like, putting the horse before the cart.

If you have $55 in your paypal account here's what you should do to set up your internet business step by step in the internet marketing niche...

    1. Get an hosting account with hostgator. It is the best, I am personally using it and I have a reseller account with them. I guess this should cost you approximately $10.

    2. Get an autoresponder account. Don't use a free one. Either go with aweber or 'Ultimate Marketing Center'. I personally use 'Ultimate Marketing Center' as it helps in automating entire website.

This will cost you around $19.95 per month.

    3. Research 10 high quality affiliate products from 'Click Bank'.

    4. Write 6 emails per product. Good quality content emails that your visitors will love. If you don't have time to write these emails purchase plr articles, this should cost you around $6-$10 in 'Plr Store'.

    5. If you can write a 20 page free report with quality content to give away to your list then write it instantly. If not purchase a plr report or structure your articles into report.

    6. Set up your squeeze page, free report to give away to your list and 60 follow up emails. You can schedule to send out one email every day. As I said first 6 emails will promote your first product with content and then the second batch of 6 emails will promote second product and so on.

With this you have your sales funnel ready.

    7. Write 5 articles every day and submit them to ezinearticles.com

Search for a free mass article distribution software and distribute your articles to other free article directories.

Do this consistently for first 30 days. If you do this the first 30 days you should get atleast 50 to 100 leads in your funnel and you should sell a couple of products.

Track your squeeze page conversion rate. Track your product sales conversion rate. Track your email open rates and click through rates.

When you have all the information above just speed up things. Tweak things based on your testing and scale up your system. Start writing 10 articles per day.

You will earn more money your second month and your list will continue to grow. Keep the momentum on and write 10 per day consistently.

After your 6 months your entire system will be working smoothly. Then start outsourcing your article writing work and you will notice that your traffic, leads and income keeps rising every month on autopilot...

    - I used the same system above, it got me 30,000 visitors, 6000 leads and $25k from one of my test websites. I used the same system little differently for a skin clinic offline project. It got me 10,000 visitors, 2500 leads and 1100 inquiries. I estimate that this clinic easily earned over $20k from my setup.

Just to tell you that the information I have shared with you is not theory, it really works...
