How Important Is Mentorship?

Yes i wouldn't mind a mentor/friend on messenger aswell.

Posting in a forum is one thing... but having someone to talk to and discuss things in real time is another.

Im interested in flipping blogs, but i find the people that you can learn from are already selling something in the area you are interested in, so mentoring someone for free would make them lose a sale.

I know its a cliche, but i really am broke and really cant afford to buy all the books and courses, but its the fact that im broke that gives me the drive and determination to do it.

I have learnt a lot in this forum, but it takes days and days of reading to weed out the nuggets of value, and even the the books and courses i have bought only explain half of it.

But even though its slow going i do appreciate the things i have learnt so far.

I mean no disrespect to you as I post this. I don't know you personally and am only posting this as a response to what I FELT after reading your post. Hope you will take this in its stride.

Having a mentor IS a good thing. Heck, if you have someone to turn to whenever you need and he/she is there to tell you "Do this, then do this, then do that...", things become so much easier.

Why would any member, HELP you out of all other members. Just because you're begging them doesn't make you entitled to mentoring. Besides, marketers on this forum are busy people. Their time is valuable. There is a reason why IMers charge for providing coaching: it takes their valuable time and effort. There has to be a reason why they'd be willing to give their valuable time away to you for free... you getting my point here?

It's GREAT to know that you realize where you are falling short. If you pay attention carefully, don't you think this means you don't have a PLAN in place yet?

$100 is not a big amount, seriously. Once you know what you have to do, it's just a matter of taking those steps. But, reading the forums or ebooks won't get you there. It might help you but it won't generate cash by itself. It sounds cliche but ACTION is your best friend. Information turns into profits when it's combined with action. Otherwise, it's just information, along with the other millions of webpages on the Internet.

You mentioned that you know you have to persist. So why are you NOT persisting? Have you tried out any of the money making methods shared here recently? Have you picked out or chosen a method you want to try out in the first place? If no, THAT'S where you need to start from.

Pick a method, follow it, persist in it - you'll see results.

If all you want is a mentor or coach, you can always try out the WSO forum - there are a couple of WSOs that provide coaching to make money online using a particular method. But understand that NONE of those marketers can help you make $100 - they can only SHOW you how to do it.

The only person who can do it for you is YOU.

If you are looking for someone to take you by the hand step by step, there are people who are willing to do that but it will cost you and pretty handsomely at that.

Now if you want direction and can act on it start by asking questions here in the forum. You will find that the answers can be very detailed and help you get to where you want to go.

As you ask questions you will get responses from those that have expertise in that area and you will start to build a relationship with those individuals.

Relationships are more important than having a mentor in the long term - and cheaper too.
