Website help: Progress bar/ticker with signup.

Hey WarriorForum...

Ive been searching around the internet to find something to fill my website needs and I cant find it.

Maybe you can help.

Im looking to find a script or plugin(maybe flash) that will allow me to sign people up with their name and email and then post a progress bar with a goal set on the main page of the website. Anyone know what my best next course of action might be to accomplish this in the next 3 days. Thankyou.

    With regard to signing people up, you can use the following services:

    1) Mailchimp.com
    2) Aweber.com

    Both services allow you to create sign-up forms for free up to a certain level of subscribers. Mailchimp comes with an API that you can integrate into your website to do pretty much anything you want, but you'd need someone who knows PHP to do this.

    Regarding the progress bar:

    You are looking for custom functionality script that is likely to use PHP, jQuery/Javascript and you will need to keep track of signed up users. That's a little tougher to do:

    1) Learn to do this yourself (takes a long time)

    2) Post a freelancer job (Freelancer.com - Hire Freelancers & Find Freelance Jobs Online) and end up hiring someone in 3 hours from now. (this takes money)

    Time = Money, after all.
