    You gotta ask yourself, why on heaven will someone sell a site in which you can recoup your money in 2 months? Smells like a scam to me.

    If you wanna check out a true gem up for sale on Flippa, search for Angry Birds 3d.

    Well, you notice that the site has been around for two years, but only shows revenue since about August of 2011, when it started earning around $200/mo from AdSense and Amazon.

    Then the revenue for last month shot up to $900, but if you read the auction copy you'll see that was a one-time advertising fee paid to the website by a company that the seller admits to having an interest in.

    That would certainly be a red flag for me. That being said, if the site can consistently average $200 a month from AdSense and Amazon, then $1,500 is a good deal. But the dodgy deal they pulled to shoot their numbers up quickly would probably turn me off from bidding on this one. Just shows that you gotta read the fine print.

    Yes.

    But it can also be a stunt, one of his friends bought the site from him, or he just used a 2nd account to buy it from himself.

    Did he get scammed, The buyer or the seller? I for one and this is if the website is for real, I would not sell it for that price. I would of put a reserve on it. Now did he in fact have verifiable proof that the site did exactly as he said, if not then the buyer was scammed.

    The site sold way below the market value though.
