Best Guides on Affiliate Marketing for Newbies?

Hi

I am an internet marketing newbies. I actually have been promoting CJ and ClickBank in the previous years and was making around $50 a month. I am thinking to plunge myself into this business and learn all about CPAs, PPCs etc.

So, I am wondering if anyone here knows where can I get guides to help me get started? I do not have much knowledge in affiliate marketing.

I like Rosalind Gardiners book (available as a digital download and physical product). It is a v. useful practical book for newbies.

I think just searching on google the affiliate you are interested in, and then googling it for reviews is a great start. Also try out the product you are interested in to make sure you believe in it. Also helps you have insider knowledge so you know what works and what doesn't. Good luck.

Looks to me that you already understand the basic concept of being an affiliate and all you need now is to learn how to generate tons of visitors to your offers.

I hope you are using landing pages to warmup/presell your prospects and not send them directly to a merchants' site.

    - CPA is just a branch of affiliate marketing and you'll find good free info at this forum regarding it.

    - You get paid when someone takes an action.

It's basically a page on the net that offers...

    - Free product/service trial
    - Free products in exchange for someone giving up their name & email address
    - Other free stuff for people

No one has to buy anything and you still get paid.

But you must be able to put up some type of page on the net - which ain't rocket science.

    - PPC is just another method of generating visitors and it seems to me that you may have traffic generation confused with what an online business model is.

If you don't that's great, but many people are getting business models confused with and co-mingled with all the various traffic generation strategies.

    Hope This Helps!!

Honestly, probably everything you ever wanted to know is posted on this forum somewhere. And, most of it is for free.

I would suggest that you also join the War Room--you pay a fee to have access to that part of the forum but you'll get back the fee that you pay 10 fold.
