Twitter Account Hacked!

Hi

My twitter account has been compromised and im stuck for a solution. As I speak it is still being used for spam! Twitter does not want to know about it, ive sent them 4 or 5 messages, i've tried re-setting the password and that does not work either.

My view now of twitter has completely changed...

    Ouch, sorry to hear that Andrei.

    How the heck did that happened? Have you checked your computer for viruses, malware, spyware, etc?

    You can ask someone who follows you to tweet about what is happening (so people know you're NOT the one to blame) and meanwhile go checking the communications with Twitter.

      Nah I think they just cracked my password.

      Yeah the support from twitter is totally screwed, actually there is none!

      Its so bizarre that this dude is actually using my twitter as we speak so he can promote his spammy ad fly links and yet no one from twitter is shutting him down after so many emails to them. Its like the twilight zone man!

      Nah mate, it's not that simple. I have 1,500 followers which was all done organically. NOt paid for. Its also the principle of not letting these scum bags get away with it.

      Twitter have now sent me some automated reply with uhh "Handy Hints" on how to fix the solution, un-frikin-believable!

    If you have changed your pasword, and you still seem to have the same thing happening, try disablling applications. to be extra safe, I will also change the pasword for where the verification email comes to.

    Hmm thats really sad to heard about your accnt hacking, but you can try to recover your account by directly contacting twitter spokesman, may be they can helps you about your account
