One thing I almost always read is the Shoemoney blog. His latest blog post provides some interesting information about his use of pop-ups to get people to opt-in to his newsletter.

The link below is to the company who did the actual testing for him, and includes their results. Very interesting, and maybe a few surprises!

I read this as well yesterday and it had some good information. There was a couple things that even the conversion agency was surprised by. This told us, if nothing else, be sure to split test!
