Question to ClickBank Vendors...

Is there a report somewhere on clickbank that shows if any of your hopads have made any sales?

I usually set up hopads in all of my accounts, because I know that some people use them, but I'm wondering how many sales they actually generate. I should know, I've been a vendor there for years, but I don't. Anyone here know how to track those?

You've got to set up tracking id's. But I think hopads are garbage.

Good luck with this - I have never made a sale on CB without doing some heavy duty writing and pre-selling.

Others on the WF take this even further and say that they can't effectively sell without someone being on their list first.

I think you're referring to a hoplink - I'm referring to a hopad - which is ClickBank's version of adsense (content network). Vendors set up ads, and then affiliates take a code from clickbank for their blog/website, and then clickbank distributes ads to their blog/website according to keywords and content.

Maybe I'm missing it, by I don't see a way to set up traking ID's with the hopads.

Yeah - I know about the hopad and the hoplink.

When I log into my affiliate account and go to the hopad creator I get to enter in:

    Keyword:
    Affiliate ID:
    Tracking ID:

Can't screen shot it right now but it's there.

Thanks William - but that is on the affiliate side of the hopad. I'm referring to the vendor side, where the ad is actually made for the hopad. If you log in as a vendor, you'll see a section called "my ads" where you can make up to 5 ads for the hopads, and I'm not seeing a way to track it as a vendor.
