Podcast Submission

Hey guys,

I'm just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction to some podcast submission software?

Basically just something that can submit your podcasts to all the major directories.

    Hi Pat, this may sound crazy, but iTunes is the only one that really matters. Most podcasters will tell you that around 99% of their views/listens come from iTunes.
    A few others are: odeo, blubrry, blip.tv (video). None of these are the goliath that iTunes is though. Podcast directories are coming and going very quickly right now (remember podango?).

    Podcast are just .xml files (RSS) .. Can be submitted directly to iTunes.. You do need an account with iTunes which does require a credit card to verify who you are...

    I'm not sure about desktop software for podcast submission but these sources may be able to help you submit your podcast to the directories:

    Feed Shark - Ping your blog, feed, or podcast for free!

    and/or...

    PodSubmitter - bringing podcasting together!

      Oh okay, thanks for the responses guys.

      So basically, should I just use feedshark and iTunes and not bother with anything else?

      I wasn't planning on dedicating too much time to this so if you guys suggest it wouldn't be that beneficial to use something like podsubmitter or podpusher I won't.
